"I have to get out of here," he said as his body was been crushed by the weight of the sand weighing on his entire body, he couldn't breathe but he was still somehow alive.
He couldn't move his hand or his legs, the sand was just way too stiff for him to even move a muscle. He could feel his throat getting drier with every passing minute, craving for something to eat.
"Am I going to stay like this for the rest of my life?" Felt helpless as he closed his eyes to find relief.
He knew that nothing could be done about his current situation, a zombie that has been buried alive isn't something you see in your everyday life.
Just as he had given up all hope of leaving where he had been buried, hope finally came to his rescue. Plunging in the shovel, Clark could slowly feel someone trying to dig him out.
The once missed gush of wind filled his lungs. "Waaaaah!" The person screamed as she witnessed movement below her.
Digging himself out with the last ounce of strength he has, he sat upright looking at his surroundings. Aside from the person who had helped him, he saw nothing but trees.
"WH…Who are you?" He looked up at the person, who still held a shock-stricken expression.
"You can talk?!" She pointed at him shaking in fear.
Clark hung his head low in disbelief at the ground, looking at his pale dry skin, "How are you still alive?" The girl asked feeling curious at this point. As he looked up at her she could notice his eyes turning pure white.
"Tell me, who are you? And why did you dig me out? Are you one of them?" He questioned, as he stared at her suspiciously.
"What? No I saw those guys throw something in there, I thought it was shady so I came to check it out" it seemed she was no longer afraid of him anymore as she answered the question.
"You're not very bright now are you?" She asked with a smug look on her face.
He sighs as he stood upright and walked slowly towards her, dragging one of his legs on the ground and using the other to walk.
She moved back a few inches as he keeps getting closer, "Are you okay Mr.?" She asked as she stretched her hands towards his face, he looked up at her with his eyes which had now turned completely white.
Tears rolled down his cheeks as he shouts "Go away!" he screamed, wrapping his hands around his body, he started to crave human flesh as his mouth started watering.
"Run WH…what do you mean to run?" She asked, feeling confused, but looking closer at him she could see the way he was struggling to keep control of himself.
He looked in the opposite direction and started running, "Hey! Where are you going?" She said following him deeper into the forest.
He ran as fast as he could, falling and falling over again, until he noticed a deer standing close to a cave with an injured leg. His mouth kept on watering as he saw the open wound of the deer.
He moved closer to the deer slowly, making sure that he didn't make any sound, he finally got close to the deer, it had no idea that it was being watched.
Dashing out of where he hid, he held the deer's neck and took a bite off its neck, relishing in the taste it brought to him with his mouth.
He placed the deer on the ground and started eating as fast as he could.
Anna, the girl who dug him out, finally caught up to him, only to witness the horrific scene of a clerk eating a deer raw.
After eating to his heart's content, the remaining chunk of meat slipped off his bloody hands, he gave a short mirthless laugh as he turned around with tears rolling down his cheeks.
He sees Anna in front of him, who covers her mouth in disgust. She looked at him, frightened to death, but she saw how hurt he was and wanted to understand better.
"I think I can help you, just tell me what's wrong?" She asked, feeling concerned and confused at the same time, she moves slowly towards him, cautious of her steps .
"People don't eat deer raw, do they?"….
"Funny I don't remember ever loving deer meat"
He screamed at the top of his voice as he falls to the ground with a loud laugh before bursting in tears, she goes over to him, kneeling as she watched him cry.
"Don't be silly, that makes the two of us, I also like raw meat" with a gentle smile on her face she patted his head, which made him cry even louder, but also made him feel a lot better.
After minutes of crying, he fell asleep on her lap with tears still dripping down his nose. She got up and carried him on her back, and took him to where she lives.
She lives alone so bringing a boy over shouldn't be a problem, not like there is anyone to question her. And besides, she still wanted to get some answers out of him.
"Uh, you see boss…Uhm…" One of the drug dealers trembled in fear, thinking of a possible excuse as to why they weren't with the Z tame.
"If you have something to say then spill it, am not a very patient man" The boss played with the doll's hair while spinning in a Swivel Aston chair.
"Uhm… You see boss" one of the dealers' steps to the front with two briefcases in his hands.
The boss got up from his chair looking at the three-drug dealers' one after the other, "I was certain, I told you guys to bring three briefcases full of drugs".
Before he could seal their fate with the truth, the boss threw the knife he found on his desk, aiming it at the dealer's neck.
The others watched the horror as he writhed, falling to his death, head first, the dagger plunging deeper the moment it made contact with the ground.
Blood oozed out from his neck, then the writhing stooped, they all looked back up at their boss who had a devilish grin on his face.
"I can't believe you made contact with my Z tame," walking towards the body and taking the knife from the dealer's neck, cleaning the knife with the doll's cloth as he smiled.
For all that is worth, he hated defiance, but nothing pricked him more than losing something he held precious to him.
The others gulped, none wanting to end up the same way their partner had, they looked at their partner as he struggled to get up, his skin turning pale and his blood drying up.
"Hawkins, kindly take this one to the safe, if he completes his transformation, then he'll be useful to us," he said with the wave of his hands.
"What should we do about these guys, Boss?" Hawkins gave them the death stare.
"Dispose of them, but if they somehow end up living after killing them, feel free to bring them back," the boss said with an evil grin on his face.
Hawkins did as he was told and disposed of the body, but unfortunately, they were not affected by the Z tame.
"Let the games begin!" smiling as he bent down to touch the remnants of Z tame he saw on the floor with his doll's cloth.
