Chapter 18

"I didn't know you are this close with Karl," Zavanna said after Karl introduced her with Damon.

The intro was cringing the hell out of her and didn't flatter her anymore for those was kind off exaggerated. She looked at Damon who is looking at her as well, "we just happened to bumped each other in the Philippines and he offered me to have work with KL," Damon responded.

She glanced at the busy Karl Lim before she looked back to Damon. She remembered how Karl gave his favoritism to Filipinos for he was a half Filipino and he loves Philippines so much. She could also see that Damon and Karl are so much friends and not just boss and client at all.

Well, Damon was a rich man himself for he was the President of the F&D Company. Although she do not have an idea of how huge that company but for Karl to notice and acknowledge his job, he must be someone with that high profile.

"Wow, so you are working like a full time model now?" She asked him showing a smile to this man.

Damon chuckled with that question for he himself never came to think of that like working as a full time model for that was never his thing and will never be his thing. Things are just kind off being in his way of a fulfilling the plan and accepting KL's job offer was just part of the reasons.

"Full time model? I don't think so. I mean, I never think of like being one for I was busy running a company. It's just that, Karl and I, we are kind off friends and I think it would just be fine with like accepting his offer. Plus, I was amazed with your work that I want to understand why you and other models loves modeling as much as we love corporate business," he responded in his very low tone.

"That is about passion and ---"

"Zavanna?"

Zavanna was interrupted with a woman's voice that just called her name and that made her looked at behind her only to see Tatiana. She smiled so widely and open an arms to welcome Tatiana. "Tatiana, I didn't know you are here," she said as she hugged this younger model than she is.

"I received a call to attend this show and luckily I was able to arrived in here before I got the call. The plan of coming in here was just for vacation and when they told me that you are here, I didn't take a second thought and agreed of coming in here. I only want to see you and thank you for that premiere shoot that did with me. If it wasn't about you, I will never be recognized like this, so thank you so much Zavanna," Tatiana said very pleasant.

She smiled and nodded with Tatiana's voice. She always find Tatiana one of the sweetest co-model that she have worked with. "What are you talkin about? You were recognized because of your undeniably beauty and passion of effort that you have put in everything that you do," she responded.

Tatiana pouted her lips, she eventually narrowed her eyes and kind off looked at her back. She then realized that there was someone behind her. As she turned to see Damon, she saw him looking at her as well and was smiling all over his face. Zavanna took a sone step backward to level Damon where he was standing.

"Mr. Damon Rivero?" Tatiana uttered like it was a full question of confirmation.

"Hi," Damon simply acknowledge the young model who kind off looking like 5 years younger than Zavanna.

"So, you guys know other?" Zavanna asked without pointing a certain in between these two os like who she was asking.

She looked at Damon but also gave a glance to Tatiana who are looking at her with such smile on her lips. She raised her brows while waiting an answer from any of them.

"Well, I know Mr. Damon Rivero for his face was raised near at the bridge connecting the City of the National Capital Region and the nearest province where I live. But, this is the very first time that I was able to see him in person," Tatiana answered and smiled at her.

"Really? Well, Damon, she is Tatiana, one of best models that our country have plus a good friend of mine," she told Naizen and gave Tatiana a sweet smile. Tatiana giggles with it.

"Wow, nice to meet you, Tatiana," Damon said that made Tatiana shifted her gaze from sticking it with her to Damon. He was offering her a shake hand and the younger model looked at his hand.

"Nice meeting you too, sir," Tatiana responded and accepted his hand and shoke it. "Zavanna, I would like to invite you to my party next week here in state, Mr. Rivero, you can come as well."

"Party?"

"Yes, it's my 21st birthday, Zavanna and my parents would want me to celebrate it here for my entire family was here and I was celebrating my past 5 birthdays in the Philippines," Tatiana answered with such excitement in her voice.

"Just send me a message the exact date, time and place. I will make the day open so I can come," Zavanna answered that made Tatiana smiled wider like a saucer.

Tatiana looked at Damon like she was waiting an answer from him, "well, I will go if Zavanna's going."

Zavanna looked at Damon widing her eyes for she didn't expect him to say such thing. Like, it literally like what the hell? Why would he tell something like that to someone who do not even know they knew each other. She looked at Tatiana and the girl was looking at her with a single raised brow like was waiting for her to confirm a thing.

"I.... I will surely come, just gave me the details," she said and took a piece of her calling card from her pouch for she always have few with her anywhere she goes for something like this. "send me a message and please make it quick so that I can adjust my schedule for I will be back at the Philippines in two days," she added and Tatiana nodded with giggles in excitement.

"Well, I am seeing a huge names in the industry," Karl Lim joined them and gave a kiss to Tatiana's cheek. "Thank you for coming, Tatiana, this means a lot to me," Karl said.

"Being in your show is something like a dream come true, KL. Plus, having the certain Zavanna around which happens barely for someone like me is more than a dream," Tatiana said and smiled at her.

"Of course. Everyone wants to be with Zavanna or wanst to be like Zavanna or worst, wants to be Zavanna. However, we only have one Zavanna in this world and that is the Zavanna Salazar," Karl responded and wrapped it's arm around her waist. "And by the way, you might have already know a special guest of mine, this is Mr. Damon Rivero, one of the Philippine's KL's ambassador and my friend."

"Yes, I have spotted the face of Mr. Rivero along the huge bridge in the Capital. So lucky that I have finally met some of the KL's faces, especially the global ambassador," Tatiana said and winked at Zavanna.

She only smiled with that. "Tatiana, we have worked together in one project, please stop acting like we just met," she joked that made the three company chuckled.

"I can't contain myself fangirling with the certain Zavanna Salazar," Tatiana responded.

"Well, who would have the gust of not being a fan of the certain Zavanna? But for now, I want you guys to meet one of the finest designer of the world. She wants to meet you guys," Karl said and looked at the three of them one by one.

"With me?" Damon asked pointing himself.

"Of course!"

Damon looked at Zavanna and she was smiling at him like her eyes was telling him the yes. "I didn't know that this work would let me meeting many people in this industry. I thought after a shoot, everything is done," he said and sounded like an innocent — fake innocence.

"Well, welcome to my world, Mr. Damon Rivero," Zavanna whispered while they were both following Tatiana and Karl.

"I would be very much happy if you would let me in in your world, Ms. Zavanna Salazar."
