CHAPTER 9: [ ELORA'S POV]

Like Ivanna requested - I have stayed low for about 4 days now, Stella kept the agency running and we did video calls just so I could see how things were running. I quickly got dressed in black high-waisted short jean shorts, and a black crop top , black and white converse shoes and I left my hair loose.

I left my apartment and drove to Bay Side- Osvaldo was meeting my grandmother today and I so wanted to get under his nerves a little bit before that meeting. I smiled as I parked my car in a nearby garage .

I saw a BMW pulling up -that must be Osvaldo. I walked towards his car. He unlocked his door as he was about to get out.I sabotaged his plans and jumped on his lap. He looks at me surprised and I move my hair to the side.

[ OSVALDO'S POV ]

Elora came out of nowhere and jumped on my lap while moving her hair to the side. I study her while she leans forward and kisses me- I wanted to ask her what's going on but she deepens the kiss and I give in. Her hands go down to my pants , but I stop her-swiftly diverting her hands to her own pants. She moves on my lap while I pull her shorts off , my hands moving towards her core, making her moan in the kiss. With my light touches she seems to get annoyed and I smirk- I pull away from the kiss and attack her neck , biting and kissing her sweet spot, making her sigh out loud. Her hands go to my chest ,but I intertwine our hands together while I bite her neck.

Her breathing is heavy when I pull away , my eyes meet hers and I stare at her'' what game are you playing at?'' she remains quiet so I caress her exposed thighs , a little squeeze and she bites her lip. My eyes follow her movement and land on her swollen lips, I trace her bottom lip and look in her eyes as I speak '' don't go anywhere , we will continue this when I get back!'' I growl and she shivers. She looks at me one last time before moving to the passenger seat. I take in her appearance and internally groan - did I have to leave her and meet her grandmother?!

[ ELORA'S POV ]

I put my shorts back on and took the time to think about what I just did - did I really want this? Did my body just betray my mind? After this , there's a huge possibility that he won't let me escape him ! am I even prepared for that ???

[ OSVALDO'S POV ]

Sapphire Tia Marina eyed me, trying to get under my skin. I wonder what she would think if she knew that her granddaughter was under my skin a few minutes ago!

''We are indebted to you for saving Elora!'' her sea green eyes staring at me. ''Its not a big deal -I'd do it for anyone else if I could!'' Sapphire smiles '' Oh Osvaldo, its not that hard to start caring about her !'' her Spanish accent outlining every word. ''Deny it all you want to , but remember one thing- every beast needs to find their beauty!'' her words ringing in my ear.

I stand up ''its a pleasure meeting you Sapphire!'' she nods '' don't hassle my granddaughters , they went through enough ,if you go against this warning - I will find you Osvaldo and it might be the last day you ever feel free!'' I slightly smile '' I'm no fool Sapphire!'' she chuckles and walks away.

I get back to my car and look at Elora who looks lost in her own thoughts - its the first time I'm seeing this. I start my car and drive and after a while I look back at Elora and she's looking out of the window. ''What's wrong? '' I ask her and she doesn't meet my eyes ''what did my grandmother tell you?'' I remain quiet and she accepts the silence until I speak '' nothing true of course!'' she looks at me for a split second with a small smile. ''You good at reading emotions , admirable skill!'' her eyes leave mine '' the very best at that!'' I smile and she laughs a little catching my smile which makes me chuckle .

''You get under my nerves so damn much and it infuriates me ,but we get along well ! '' she looks back at me with a grin'' I knew that already!'' I roll my eyes and she smirks at my annoyance.
