Chapter 21 ‘You can’t keep letting them into the house,’ Annie complained to her mum as she shooed the lamb back out the front door. How times had changed. It used to be her mum telling Annie the same thing, except that she usually had to remove various items of clothing from the poor creatures at the same time. Lamb two had thrived under her mum’s care over the past three weeks, as had the other two poddies from this year’s crop, but the real benefit was in the way her mum had adjusted back to life on the farm.
