Yasmyn's POV
The other side of the bed was cold again by the time I woke up. Brendan is once again up early and today, only he knows what he is doing.
I did my business and walked outside to a corridor full of guards. The guards I didn't appoint for my safety.
"What's wrong? Why are you all here and not at the borders or the pack?" I asked the one nearby.
"Beta Adi ordered us to guard you, Your Majesty" he said with a bow.
Just as I expected. Adi is going to be over protective now. But this is much better than the way Silas simply left me because he thought I would be safe now that I have Adi and Brendan with me.
