"Hey," I heard Brendan's voice and turned to look at him.
"Hey," I whispered but couldn't bring myself up to smile at him this time.
"I heard Vernon is up. But why are you sad? Why are you here and not with him?" He asked me again.
I am sitting in the garden area right in front of the hospital. I have come here straight after the talk with the pack doctor. So Kim says she can't say anything for sure. Vernon might walk or might not.
