Yasmyn's POV
I smiled the moment I heard Brendan's voice on the phone. The only communication we have as of now, is this. The Alpha telephone line that the working Royals have with each pack.
"How are you?" I asked him and heard him go silent for a moment before answering.
"I am good. How have you been? Are you safe?" He asked me back.
"Why do you always think that I am in danger? I am just trying to live my life as a Royal until someone else takes this title from me. I don't want it anyways," I told him and there was another moment of silence again.
"Let's not forget that the walls have ears," Brendan told me again and I groaned.
