Yasmyn's POV I did not realize I was falling until the ground was already rushing up to meet me . The roar of the arena blurred into a dull , distant hum , like I was hearing the world through a layer of water . My knees hit the sand first, then my hands, and the spear slipped from my grip as if it had never belonged to me at all . Warmth soaked through my side . Too much warmth .
