DATING DANGER

INTRO -

"Riana run ! "

I heard my mum's frantic voice yell my name , still my tiny feet were glued , seemingly unable to move . streams of tears ran down my cheeks, wetting my lashes

I looked at mum ,half her face was stained with bright red blood, concealing her gentle face,a face that was now void of emotions

the golden badge on her chest that once shone bright , was now coated in red blood, I almost couldn't make out the national flag that stood above the badge ...

by her stood both men and women, under her command firing loads of bullets at the opposition whom counterattacked with shots and firearms

" mum , I want to be just like you "

those words which I have always said to my mum came back to my little mind

loads of emotions surging in my heart , only making the tears intensify

"Riana !" i heard my dad's voice

turning to a distance, I spotted dad ,worry and anxiety were obviously written on his face, by his side stood my elder sister, Maya

"run Riana, run! " dad's voice sounded again

I began running towards them,eyes shut, still mum's b****y face came into view, making me feel a striking pain in my heart ,one I couldn't get rid of

"dad" I called out softly, running into his arms , my face stained with tears,dad held both Maya and I , refusing to let go

" you're my little star " words my mum had always told me came surging into my head, piercing deep

I couldn't let mum down,I had to atleast try and save her

Breaking free from dad's grip,I ran towards mum, feeling like I had to save her no matter what

" Riana! " I heard Maya's voice

before I could register anything, someone pushed me , making me fall, almost immediately, a loud sound infiltrated my ears

I raised my gaze from the ground , my gaze falling on Maya who stood there , blood oozing from her chest

" Maya " I found myself saying, frozen at my spot

with a "pa" sound, Maya's body fell on the ground

tears blurred my vision,unable to stop

I felt myself being lifted, dad had picked me up, holding me thight
