Houston is a large city. To my surprise, I’ve found I fit in pretty well here.I am living with my sister and working at Cracker Barrel.
One positive thing about my relationship with Woodstock is he reintroduced me to singing. I am taking singing lessons to make my voice more robust, which I enjoy. Thanks to him, it sparked my interest again. I’m hoping to get in a band and sing in nightclubs for a few extra dollars a week. I am still in college and want something more for my life than working at places like Cracker Barrel.
I have been thinking a lot lately of growing up in Mexico, we were so poor. After my papa’s murder, it became even worse. Mama and I never talked of it, but she sold herself after Papa died – somehow, she had to support us. Also, she had been saving for us
