CHAPTER 15

JUNGKOOK

I woke up from the light kisses trailing my face. A soft giggle echoed as my eyes flew open. Involuntarily, I smiled.

"Good morning!" A smiling Lisa greeted me. I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up. She was beside me with no clothes at all.

"You're up early--woah!" She suddenly tackled me making me fall back on the bed. "What is up with you?"

"Nothin'.... I just wanna cuddle my bunny-yah..." Like an adorable kid, Lisa snuggled me like a teddy bear. If she happened to be stronger than I was, I would've broke.

"I'm not complaining or anything but... you're starting to get weird..."

"Huh? Ani. I reeeeaaaally just want to cuddle!"

My eyebros furrowed. Something's really up. Lisa's not usually like this. She's 5 times cheery and bubbly today. Usually she'd push me off the bed every morning or scowl at me for snoring too much.

I looked around. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary--holy crap. Did she just drink coffee?

"Baby, who put coffee on the bedside table?"

"Dunno but I drank it since I thought it was chocolate milk--"

"s**t--" I grabbed the cup and smelled it. It was definitely coffee. Hoseok's happy coffee. "Oh boy."

Hoseok's ability isn't just about reading auras or anything. He can make you feel things--weird things as well, as he pleases. And I think today's the day he takes revenge after I punched his days ago.

"Jungkoooookie!!!!"

Lisa kept on clinging on me like a kid. It was as if she's 101% high.

"Ya hyung! Stop it now!"

"Hyung?" Lisa asked. "I'm not hyung. I'm Limario Oppaaaaa~!"

She jumped off the bed and started to run around the room wearing only her panties.

"Aish." I immediately ran after her and wrapped her like a burrito using our blanket. "Hobi hyung this isn't funny!"

"You guys didn't let me sleep!" Yelled a voice outside. "Now suffer!"

"Hyung!"

I heard footsteps hurridly walking away. I sighed.

"What am I supposed to do with you now?"

"Love me, juseyooooooo!" Lisa made the weirdest yet most adorable aegyo face. I couldn't help chuckle at this sight. "Kya~!"

I lifted her up back to our bed then she landed on her back. She was giggling while raising her arms towards me signalling to hug her.

"Koooooookie!"

I was about to lean forward towards her when I saw something peculiar by her rib. Was that a scar?

"Ya, where did you get this?"

"Hmmmm?"

I rolled my eyes and yelled at Hobi hyung again. "Seriously hyung! Just this once!"

"Fine!"

Lisa blinked.

"What just happened?" I ignored her question.

"Since when did you have this scar?" I straight up asked.

"Huh? What scar?"

"This scar." I pointed at the long scar just around her abdomen. "Since when did you have this scar?"

Lisa looked at it. "I don't actually remember. I had that since I came to Wayji, I think. But honestly, I don't recall ever being injured here."

My forehead creased. She didn't have a scar like this even before we got married.

"Baby, do you remember everything about your past? Are there any holes or anything?"

She stopped and wondered. "Now that you've mentioned it, how I ended up with Wayji's a little fuzzy. I do remember you turning me into a vampire and running away but, I was going to come home that night. All I can remember right now is a blinding light and a sharp stab..."

She gasped.

"That night! That night I was about to go back home... someone stabbed me here!" She pointed at the scar. "I remember... I remember being engulfed in flames... A hooded figure leaving me to burn to death. The next day I woke up, Jinhwan and the rest of Ikon found me."

"The hooded figure..."

"I can't remember his face. But I do remember that he had a scar on his cheek--"

The door flew wide open.

"Rise and shine, love birds! We have training--woah!"

I instinctively grabbed Lisa close to my body as the blanket hid her nakedness from the two grinning babboons by the door.

"Someone got laid last night," Kai commented as Seungyoon looked away. "Anyways, Jungkook, Namjoon and Suho said to meet up downstairs for training."

"I'll be there. Now get out."

Still snickering, the two left.

"Training?" I looked over Lisa who crossed her arms. "Nobody said that we'll be having a training."

"It's only for us guys," I replied. It made her furrow her eyebrows more. "Don't get us wrong or anything. It's just that, we just want to protect you girls more--"

"Only Jennie and her baby needs protecting," she cut me off. "Me, Jisoo and Rosé can still fight perfectly. We should be included in this training of yours."

"But Lisa--"

"We will join your training whether you guys like it or not."

Lisa stood up, and marched towards the bathroom. Then she turned towards me.

"If we shower together we'll finish faster, you know."

I laughed. This woman jinja.

"And here comes the love birds," Sehun announced as Lisa and I walked towards the openspace behind the Manor.

"Hey Lis," Namjoon greeted her. "Rosé and Jisoo's watching from the bleachers."

Lisa looked over to her sisters who waved at her. She waved back but didn't walk over to them.

"Aren't you gonna join them?"

"Nah. I wanna join you guys," she happily replied. "I wanna train too."

"Are you sure, princess?" Yixing asked. "You really wanna train with us wolves and vampires?"

"Yea, Lis. We train far different than witches..." Xiumin tried tp explain. I look over to my wife. She was just smiling.

"Of course I am. I kinda miss training. So I guess if what you say is true, this will be an upgrade from my previous trainings."

The guys looked at me and I just shrugged. "No one can stop her when she's this determined."

"Fine. Just tell us when it's getting too rough, okay?" Kyungsoo said. Lisa nodded.

"So, shall we start?" Suho asked. Namjoon nodded. "Let's test one on one combat first as warm-up. The winner gets to fight the next challenger and so on. No magic or shapeshifting. Just combat. Now, who wants to go first?"

Lisa immediately raised her hand.

"Such enthusiasm, doll. Leave some for us."

"Oh shut up. I just love training so much."

"Okay... Lisa and... Kai." Suho pointed out. "Up and center."

Kai waved at Lisa and she did the same. "I guess this will be easy."

"I wouldn't say that if I were you," Namjoon smiled.

"Don't worry, princess. This won't hurt a bit."

Kai started to attack. Lisa just grinned and effortly dodged him by doing a backflip up in the air.

"Of course it won't," she said mid-air. "But this would."

She threw a kick and Kai flew hitting his back on a tree trunk. He tried to stand up but it seems like she hit him really hard.

I'm proud.

"That's gotta leave a mark," Suho commented.

"Who's next?" Lisa asked with her hand pn her hip.

Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin gave each other a nod. The three of them attacked all at once.

"Aren't you gonna help your wife?" Baekhyun asked me out of the blue.

"The only ones who'll be needing help are your brothers," I answered with a smirk.

The three EXO members were sent flying.

"Daebak!" Baekhyun exclaimed. "I didn't know she was this good!"

"She was relying on her abilities when you all attacked us back then," Jennie, who's being escorted by Yoongi stood beside us. "She's actually the most skilled in combat. It's like she was born to fight."

"She secretly trains with the best martial arts instructors back in Thailand when she was still a human," I stated. "I helped her sneak out most of the time 'coz it wasn't customary that a princess be involved in sports like this."

Lisa's brightest smile showed that day. When she beat up almost all the wolves and vampires.

"Any other challengers?"

I stepped forward and raised my hand. She smiled.

"This'll be fun."

"Well that was fun."

I lay on the ground panting. I may have forgotten that my wife knows all my weak points.

"You don't play fair," I said. She held out her hand to help me get up.

"There's no fair game in battle, my dear bunny," she said chuckling. "But I guess I shouldn't have taken my shirt off."

I rolled my eyes as she flashed me her mischievous grin.

"So I guess warm up's over?" Namjoon said. "Okay. We'll split up into two teams. The offensive side and the defensive side."

"We'll mix up the vamps and the wolves--"

"Count us in!" Ikon and Winner came running towards us.

"We'll join in on this," Mini said. "Let's just make it BTS vs EXO vs iKon vs Winner."

"How about me?" Lisa asked.

"We'll join too!" Jisoo and Rosé chimed in. "We'll be team Blackpink!"

"Great! What's the mechanics?"

Suho raised two flags. "I was thinking of Capture the Flag but I only have two--"

The flag suddenly became five. Silver, Black, Red, Blue and Pink. Jinwoo was grinning.

"Thanks Jinwoo," Namjoon said as the male witch saluted. "So it's capture the flag then."

"Wouldn't it be fair? The girls only has three in their team--"

"They have Lisa," Hanbin boredly replied. I can't help but be proud or something. "It's fair enough."

"First one to capture all flags wins." Namjoon gave each team their flags. Jennie and Yoongi stayed to watch. She wantes to join too but hyung strongly suggested she sit this one out. "Losers will do all chores."

"Kaja!"

As the game started, the teams headed off to their own camps. Blackpink with only three of them in the team, strategically planned their offense and defense.

"It will be hard for them to cross a river," Rosé suggested. "The enchanted river south of the Manor can be our base. I can use my ability to make the current fast enough that they can't pass through."

"Yes yes. That would be a good defense. Now for the offense." Lisa laid out a map of Beulping.

"Woah! How'd you manage to get that?" Jisoo asked.

"I was in charge of protecting the area when we were trainees, in case you forgot..."

"Oh right." Jisoo then swayed her hand and a portal appeared. The girls stepped in it and they were able to arrive at the riverbed.

"Look who we have here."

Junhoe grinned as his group surrounded the girls. Rosé tightened her grip on their flag.

"Six against three. And we all have elemental abilities," he stated. "Don't you girlies have a little disadvantage?"

Jisoo gave him a smirk. "I don't think so, little June. As Hanbin said, we have Lisa. She is more than enough."

And in a blink of an eye, the flag Chanwoo was holding was now with Lisa. Since she had heightened speed, the male witches didn't know what just hit them. But of course, the guys won't back down that easily.

Jisoo and Rosé looked at each other then nodded. They clasped their hand together and the ground the boys were standing on suddenly became like a quicksand.

"s**t--" Bobby was about to use his ability but his arms got caught. Same as with the other guys. As the boys' bodies got trapped, the quicksand solidified. Making it harder for them to escape.

Lisa patted Jinhwan's head. "Don't worry oppa. We'll get you out of there eventually."

The guys whined as the girls left them giggling. They now have iKon's banner. That leaves only three more opponents.

"All we have to do now is go over the river," Rosé said.

"No problem."

Jisoo held out her hand and chucks of the ground formed a temporary pathway for the three of them to cross over to the other side.

"Shall I go hunt for banners?" Lisa asked her sisters. "I think I know where Winner oppas are hiding their banner."

"Where?"

"Mino oppa's tree house," she answered. "He's always in that place. He never leaves--"

"There they are!"

Kai, Yixing and Chanyeol were on the other side of the river. Rosé swayed her hand and the water current suddenly grew faster.

"We have to jump over," Chanyeol suggested. The other two agreed. They shifted into their wolf forms and attempted to jump over. Only Yixing was successful.

"Aish those two," he muttered as he turned back into his human form. "It wasn't that far--woah!"

The girls gasped as Yixing suddenly fell in a land trap they didn't know existed.

"Yixing!"

"I'm okay! I'm okay!" He yelled from underneath. "Yikes. It's really dark in here."

"Protect the flags, unnies. I'll just go get him."

Jisoo and Rosé nodded then she jumped. She used her powers to illuminate the surroundings.

"Ya, I can get out on my own, you know," Sehun said. He was sitting on the ground and massaging his ankle.

"With an injured foot? I don't think so." She chuckled. Yixing rolled his eyes. "I guess it's my turn to help you now."

"Whatever you say, princess."

Lisa held out her hand and helped Yixing up. But he put on some weight on his injured foot making him wince in pain and stumble a little.

The two's faces were only an inch apart. Yixing suddenly couldn't breathe right. His heart thumping loudly which didn't escape Lisa's hearing. She immediately turned away. She felt him chuckle a bit.

"Hold tight," she instructed him. "Jump with me in the count of three. One. Two. Thre--"

"Wait!"

Lisa stopped and instantly looked at him. He was staring at the walls of the hole which now looks like a shaft.

"Over there," he pointed. "There something shining over there."

Limping, he walked towards the shining object as Lisa used her powers to illuminate the area even more.

There were three pedestals. And a jewel on top of each one.

Yixing suddenly remembered something as Lisa tried to reach one.

"Lisa no!"

A sudden burst of light filled the area.
