My fingers abruptly paused on my keypad as I realized what I was doing. I was texting my dad to inform him about my arrangements for heading home when I was supposed to now be texting Ash.
I swallowed as I curled my fingers, realizing I was taking longer than normal to get used to it all. Ash was my step-brother to be and in the meantime, he was my chauffeur and stalker imposed on me by my dad.
