CLEO’S POV
My alarm blared, piercing through my silent room and immediately pulled me from my short slumber. Letting out a groan, I rubbed my eyes and sat up, realizing I’d barely slept the entire night.
My thoughts and worries had consumed me, keeping my mind restless and eyes wide open. Not even for a second could I get Ash off my mind. He was everywhere in my room in my mind and the second I shut my eyes, he was all I could see.
I was scared. Scared of the unknown. Scared of what would happen to us.
We both spent the entire day after the announcement of our parents getting married away from each other. I spent the entire day in my room, not speaking to my dad or doing anything in particular. Other than wallowing in my thoughts, of course.
