Who knew two weeks could go by so slowly?
At least, not me as the two weeks I spent away from Cleo felt like the longest two weeks I’d spent my entire life.
Two weeks to pull myself together. Two weeks to focus on nothing but school. And two weeks to prepare for my mum’s grand wedding ceremony.
And finally after that two weeks of hell, it was finally the day of the wedding.
I stared at my reflection in the mirror, immediately cursing under my breath. I looked like a mess and I knew it. I’d barely been sleeping, been attending classes like a lunatic, fell back to smoking all the time despite telling myself I was going to stop and basically, spent two weeks hating every moment of it.
