VENUS:
Maxine was working on a file in his laptop and the way his fingers moved on the keyboard was quite impressive.
He made me sit in a large armchair near the fireplace, my fingers absentmindedly tracing the seam of the cushion.
I had nothing else to do.
I watched him from across the room and my gaze focused on his jaw which seemed tight due to how focused he was. Then my gaze shifted to his fingers which continued to move fluidly on the keyboard.
He looked so effortless, navigating files and typing swiftly, occasionally muttering something under his breath. The screen glowed against his face, casting a soft hue over his expression.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked without looking up.
