Sophie Barnes “I think I would drop off here.” I alighted from the car. Walked straight to mine and drove to my apartment to see Heidi. Feet kicked up on the couch and eyes on the TV. “About freaking time.” Heidi kicked down her feet from the couch and patted the space next to her with the eagerness of a child.
