“I need to know at what point I am supposed to tell the house members about me and Julian?” I whispered into the phone.
“You haven't told them already?” Now she sounded awake. I slapped myself across the forehead so hard after hearing the dismay in her tone. Of course I was supposed to talk about it! That was the whole point of being in a fake relationship with Julian in the first place. To talk about it and let it affect my reality. I got mad at myself for a bit that whatever she was saying registered barely as words.
