I sighed and pushed Sienn away from me. I don't want her to be next to me. I know it sounds cruel. But I got used to my own company. I got used to being alone. I got used to having no one by my side. It's hard. But I accepted it. She looks hurt but shakes it off. She jumps off of the desk and leans on it. "Should I bring my stuff here?" She asks. "Sure. If you want." I say. She sighs and steps out of my office. I can feel Eden's disappointment, but she's also used to being alone.
Many say that even if you're a loner when you meet your mate you want to always be in their presence. Whoever said that was a f*****g liar. Being around her makes me feel like I have to be this picture-perfect mate. It's too much. I don't think I can be that mate of her dreams. No, scratch that. I know I can't. start on the mountain of paperwork. After a few hours, dad comes into my office with a proud smile. "I saw... What's her name? Sienn? Yeah her, she said that you're her mate." She said proudly. "Mhm." I hum and read over the page I'm about to sign. It's something about bringing some supernaturals here to look for their mates. I signed it saying that I agree and put it in the 'to delivery ' pile. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asks sitting down on a chair in front of me. "Didn't feel like it." I lie through my teeth. I made sure my heart didn't go faster and that my face won't show anything. "Why are you lying." She states more than asks. I sigh but don't answer her. I just keep on doing paperwork. I sigh and look at the next page. 'Hello, my name is Malakai. I'm a werewolf from England. I'm sending you this to ask if I can live in your pack for 4 years. I'm now joining an Art academy in Italy and your pack is the closest. I don't want to live in a dorm where many humans can't know about our existence. Thank you, Kai. I hum at this. She sent her whole background. I went through it and found her interesting. I see her email address and call my sister in. "Kit, come in here, now," I say and cut the line. A few minutes later my replica comes in and looks anywhere but at me. I give her a paper where I wrote basically what I want her to write for this woman. "Send this to this address, but make it more I don't know... Compassionate." I order. She nods and takes the papers from me.
