I slowly open my eyes but instantly shut them again due to the immense headache I feel. I groan softly and attempt to move my hand to my eye... But something is preventing me... Something hefty, and metal. "I see you are awake! That's great!" I hear a cheerful voice speak. "Who... Where am I?" I whispered. I can sense the person's hand wrapping around my neck and forcing me to glance at them. When my eyes land on my kidnapper I gasp. It's the woman from the woods. "You, my dear, are at Lincolen Creed. You said your mates don't love you, so I brought you to my home." She stated. Lincolen Creed? That's on North River lands... Means I'm not that far from home... Kaya's pack is in the Northern sullerdale region.
Oh, goddess... Kai is probably going nuts. She's the only one that cares. I mean like yes, she has been forgetting me for like 2 weeks since she told me she is sorry and s**t and that was a lie... But I know she cares... Kaya? Most likely didn't even notice I was gone for... How long have I been here? "What day is it? how long was I asleep?" I ask frantically. "You've been asleep for 3 hours." She says. I can smell silver, likely from the chains. Nearly all creatures and humans believe that silver injures us. It doesn't, it's a tale. Yet nearly everyone believes it. I bet even Kaya believes it. the myth began when Dracula, the first vampire ever, was created and it was known to everyone that this one toxin would exterminate him. Which was a lie. So he revealed how that was a myth.
And said that only pure silver that was forged under the moonlight
would harm him. Another lie. Yet it hasn't been confirmed incorrect yet. But we know it isn't. When we are born, we must have a stamp on us that shows what family we are from. It looks like a tattoo, which technically it is. The thing is, they get that stamp on us, by heating pure silver till it's scalding red and stamping us. Usually on the rear of the upper thigh. Like mine. But sometimes on our back if the thighs aren't a suitable location. So no, silver, pure silver, whatever it doesn't injure us. I sigh and begin to collect up my force. I try to put it in different places on my body and this will take me a few hours. "Who are you?" I question her. I recall what Papa taught me, to never display weakness to your opponents. "My name is Crimson."
She states and exits the chamber. I notice that my legs are not chained and the chains force my hands up
shut my eyes and let out a breath concentrating on my power. I foremost draw it up from my legs leaving them powerless. I hold all of it in my core for now. I have to keep power in my arms or I'll die of course I'll come back but that's really annoying. I have to maintain strength in my palms to keep me up so I won't lose my grasp on the chains and my lungs will fail. I can only guess it's been five hours. That's usually the span it takes me to pull power from my lower body to my upper body. I gradually take some force from my heart. It beats slower. Nearly slow enough to be deemed dead. One beat per minute. It's solely enough to maintain me alive. I carry that strength up to my arms.
Another five hours...
