Vavara POV
I heard a sound in the room and jumped up. I looked around but didn’t see Alek, instead, I saw an older woman, with glasses on her face and grey hairs poking out of her deep red hair.
“You’re awake, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you, child.” She said. I c****d my head to the side and looked at her curiously.
“I’m Ms. Selby. The alpha asked me to clean his chambers and keep an eye on you.” She said. I let out a sigh.
“I’m not really a child,” I said. She gave me a soft smile, one that made me feel comfortable almost instantly. Is she a wolf? I didn’t think wolves aged.. Alek didn’t.
