Vavara POV
The second I stepped into the room I noticed Alek wasn’t in bed. I looked around the room, following his scent only to see him sitting in the chair in the far corner, staring at me.
“Where were you?” He asked. I could sense the tension in the room.. he was not happy that I’d snuck out.
“I was outside talking with my Father,” I said truthfully.
“Did you visit Aiden?” He asked. I didn’t know what to say.. so, I just told him the truth..
“I did,” I said, regret laced into my voice.
“I see.” He nodded his head and closed his eyes.
