Vavara POV
Hours have gone by and the sun is beginning to go down. Raven had two guards escort me back to his chambers.. and I’ve sat here staring out of the window just waiting for the time to come when they fight.
The door opened and Raven walked in.
“It’s almost time.” He said.
“Do I get to come?” I asked. I was hoping he’d say yes so I could make a run for it as they fought.
“No. You will stay here and I will bring you his head like I promised.” He said.
“I don’t want to stay.” I said as I stood up.
“You’d rather watch?” He asked with a smirk. To be completely honest.. no. But if I have the chance to run, I’d rather already be outside.
“Yes.” I said.
“Too bad. You’re staying. Unless you kiss me.” He said. I shook my head. Never in a million years.
