“You might want to come here,” Selby said. Before I could ask why she turned around and walked out. I let out a sigh as I stood up and followed her out.
She walked down the hall to my chambers and opened the door.
“She had a memory come back. You.. you want to hear this.” She said. She left me there with Vavara staring at me.
“What did you remember?” I asked as I walked towards her.
“My mate.” She said. The words stung like lemon juice being poured into wounds.
