Chapter 6

Gio is driving fast, because of the traffic it took an hour to get to the school and wasted his time there.

One person already don’t have a job starting tomorrow. And another one if he can't find Kelly within 10 minutes. It’s his assistant. He wasn’t doing his job. If it wasn’t for him, Gio wouldn’t forget about Kelly

If only his assistant didn’t forget to remind Gio that Kelly’s school ended, he wouldn’t be in road searching for any signs of the child.

If he was kidnapped, then it only means there’s mole inside the company. Only trusted people knew about the existence of the little heir in the company.

He needs to protect his promise to his friend.

He was driving fast when he suddenly hit the brake causing the car to slide through the road, making an alarming sound.

He saw two familiar figure, it was a woman holding the child’s hands. They both talking and smiling as if they talking something. He can see how the boy's lips moves every time the woman talks.

When he saw how the child smiles, he was infuriated.

He immediately got out of his car as soon as the car stops and walk towards the two with long strides.

Amber was waiting for impact to hit her but a growl was sounded from her back “Let him go!”

"Uncle!"

Even before Amber can see the face of the man, the child in her arms was forcibly taken from her.

Somehow, she felt someone stab her heart, when she saw him taking Kelly away from her. But she can’t do anything about it, because in the first place there's nothing she owned.

"What are you doing to him!?" Gio sneered at Amber.

"I wasn't doing anything—”

"Uncle," the child tugged at him and when he look he saw blood on his clothes. He suddenly sees red.

"What did you do him!?"

"I didn't do anything to him!" She tried to explain again but this guy is dead set on what he thought happened. Without a word he dragged the child into his car.

"If something happened to him you'll pay for this.” He swore to Amber. Then starts to walk away.

Infuriated, Amber throws the bag of Kelly towards Gio, hoping that her heels stab him to death.

She feels awful. She felt cornered and wronged. It was one thing if you blame someone, but its different matter if you won’t even let that person try to explain.

She felt unjustified and snap at him. With broken voice she shouted at him in the face. “Why are you blaming me!?

“Do you even know what happened!? Are you there huh!? Did you see it!? In the first place, if you didn’t forgot about Kelly, this situation wouldn’t happened!

“For your information mister President, we were on the way to your house because YOU forgot to pick him up!!”

Such ungrateful man! He just saw the aftermath, didn’t even tried to know the cause! Is he that narrow minded!?

After her preach, she walk out on him with her bare feet. Finally, she caused a scene. She crossed her fingers and hope that some paparazzi is taking picture right now.

"You're lying!"

"No I am not! Ask him!"

But Gio didn't look at the child she just put him inside the car and cast a killing gaze at her.

"If I ever see you again, I'll ca the police!"

"That's---!"

But they were gone. She was left again.. a prickly feeling started to squeeze her heart. It was uncomfortable. But she remain staring at the back of the car, silently saying her goodbyes and as if she saw his eyes look back she smiled.

Hold on. Keep it together Amber. He cannot see you in pain.
