Although she was usually introspective, she had become completely withdrawn, driven only by a need for vengeance. This was not the Iadrawyn he knew. He herded her along the mountain corridors, hoping they would not stumble across any dark dragons that had stayed behind. Lodariel had dashed out of sight long before to rescue Valanandir.
