Chapter Twenty Three LUCAS' art room was just an empty spare bedroom. Whenever he'd have time, he would paint, finding it really relaxing. After each painting, he'd show Ava first - her being the only one to ever see his work and the only one with an opinion that mattered to him. As Ava sat on the comfy little sofa, she looked at the one displayed on the wall. It was a painting of her, sitting on their tree, reading a book.
