William looked at her with a wicked smile. "Well? What did I do last night? Why can't I remember?"
Elizabeth was no longer the simple, silly girl she had been and would not fall for his tricks.
"Now, get out of my house, and don't come to me again."
However, William had no intention of leaving but moved closer to her.
"You're in such a hurry to get rid of me. Tell me, is it because you slept with me last night and found you're still into me?"
His tempting words made Elizabeth's heart beat faster uncontrollably, but she steeled herself against his allure.
"In your dreams!"
William moved closer. Given that there was barely any distance between them in bed, his movement just made the space vanish, their bodies touching closely.
