Elizabeth smiled. "Chloe, calm down. This makes sense. You know if I didn't do this, the trolls on the Internet would've been all over me, calling me heartless. The Dickens family has apologized, and they seemed so sincere. If I still kept them locked up, then I'd be the unreasonable one."
"But they were in the wrong to begin with! Mila was morally blackmailing you!"
"Of course, I knew. Remember when I told you she'd find a way to gain Byron's trust?"
