“Thank God, she’s safe,” Lorenzo said after listening to Matteo telling him about Aurora’s phone call. He’d knocked on their door immediately after ending the call and made sure to close it behind him, just like Aurora had asked him to do. “She is, but we are not. What should we do about the traitor?” Matteo asked. “Any idea who it is?” Sofia asked, and the two men shook their heads. “Well, then there is nothing we can do right now. I need some coffee, and something to eat,” she stated matter-of-factly and opened the door of their bedroom, walking towards the kitchen. She hadn’t eaten since Aurora was taken, so of course she would be hungry now, that she knew her niece was safe. “I’m not ok with her being by herself,” Lorenzo mumbled, looking after his woman, and Matteo had to agree.
