When I opened my eyes, I was met with Gage's bare chest. He was holding me rather tightly to himself. Though his slow soft breathing and soft finger twitching told me he was asleep. He was holding me in a way that I could not slip free without waking him. I tapped his chest gently.
"Gage. Let go." I said softly, hoping to only wake him a little. Enough to release his hold, so I could get up but not fully wake him. I tapped him once more and his eyes opened. I looked up to meet his eyes as he blinked softly awake. "I didn't mean to wake you," I said, and then suddenly, he grabbed my chin and pulled me into a sudden kiss. My eyes went wide at the sudden desperate kiss. "Gage." I gasped out softly as he rolled us both. He pinned my back to the bed when he finally broke the kiss.
