EPISODE 18- RAZOR'S SKILLS

The giant silhouette of the Megasausrus blocked the sun creating a dark shadow that spans across the entire battlefield. This causes the adventurers who were fighting the hatchlings to look with awe as they gaze, upon the gigantic figure.

I also gazed at the towering giant beast and analyze it. Well, Xyra was the one actually analyzing the beast. After a few seconds, she immediately showed me what she had gathered about the Megasaurus by popping a notification board in my line of sight.

“What the hell are these stats!?! They're all six digits, how are we supposed to kill that thing?” I spoke to myself loudly, Razor also heard my words.

He then spoke to me, “So you have an appraisal skill too? So I was right to put my anti appraisal skill in the carriage before. ”

I then looked at Razor and spoke, “So you mean those electrical waves around you when I wasn't able to appraise your stats, that was your skill blocking mine?”

“Yep, also I have been appraising you since we got in the carriage. So I immediately knew how powerful you were.”

This old man has already appraised me before we even left the town. I should've find some countermeasures against people with an appraisal skill. Why am I even thinking about that now? We still have to deal with this monster.

“What the hell, how are we supposed to kill that thing!?!” yelled an adventurer who was gazing at the gargantuan beast.

One of the adventurers who was still fighting some leftover hatchlings replied, “We just have to put it to sleep, we don't need to kill it dumbass.”

Another adventurer who was just next to the second person who spoke also replied, “But how are we going to do that?”

Ann Marie's voice then resounded the area again, “IT CAN BE PUT TO SLEEP IF IT USES ALL OF ITS MANA. ”

Voshkosh who was still killing a lot of hatchlings that were charging forward, immediately retreated next to Ann Marie. He then grabbed a bottle from his pouch behind his waist, the bottle contained a bluish color liquid.

He then opens the lid covering the bottle and drank it. After drinking, he immediately put the bottle back to his pouch and wiped his mouth and spoke.

“My stamina's back to full again, so what should we do now, Ann Marie?”

Ann Marie looked at Voshkosh and replied, “We'll just have to drain it of its power, physical attacks, and magic attacks are very useless against it. But it doesn't mean we can't slow it down and force it to attack us with everything it has.”

“But how can we do that?” asked Voshkosh to Ann Marie.

“We've already pissed it after killing all of its hatchlings, so I'm pretty sure that thing's gonna use its first attack.”

Ratatatatata! Ratatatatata!

I was firing my rifle at the approaching enemies which were the remaining hatchlings. The sound of my .70 caliber explosive rounds caused the other adventurers to become intrigued by my weapon. I was even killing the hatchlings with ease using my weapon, but I was not fighting alone.

Razor was backing me up with his skills in martial arts, Razor is actually a “fighter monk mage” which excels in martial arts and magic arts. I did not use any appraisals on him, he just told me all about it.

I kinda felt like an i***t for not even realizing that the biggest hint that he was a monk, was that oversized blue jade necklace on his neck. I guess I haven't watched too many martial arts movies in my old world.

“Hey kiddo, what are you doing just standing around there?” yelled the old man as he attacks one of the hatchlings.

He was getting surrounded by a lot so I immediately rushed and help by providing fire support. Ratata! Ratata! Echoed by my rifle as I aim and killed the monsters approaching Razor with ease.

“Only Twelve left eh, this will be easy,” spoke Razor as he looks at the hatchlings surrounding him.

He then charged at the remaining twelve hatchlings, Razor then yelled his skill, “Sixth Technique Lightning Palm! ”

His palm suddenly held a blue orb with flashing lightning, he then strikes the first hatchling that he can grab. The unfortunate hatchling that had to face the old man's skill has received a powerful strike, it was too powerful that you could even hear the insides of his target breaking, upon the old man's palm impacts to its target, the blue orb then enters the body of the enemy and electrocutes them from the inside, burning their internal organs using lightning.

After killing the first hatchling, Razor immediately turns to the other hatchling and used his other skill, “Thunder Shock!”

Blue Lightning then came out of his finger hitting a hatchling, but this skill has another trick up its sleeve. Anything that is about three meters away from the target also gets electrocuted, making it both crowd control and an area of effect skill.

Not only that, but it also slows down any enemy that survives the attack. Seeing all these from the old man which is a C+ adventurer, I can conclude that he is probably on par with the three B rank adventurers leading this operation. I even thought that the old man might be able to beat me on a player vs player battle.

“Seven left, I guess I have to end this now, we still have a bigger fish to fry.” muttered the old man as he prepares for another attack.

I looked at the old man who suddenly had a serious face, seeing that I immediately knew that he was gonna do some crazy powerful attack. So I immediately run away from the old man. I wasn't alone doing this as the adventurers near the old man also did the same.

After seeing that I was in a safe distance away from the old man, I immediately stopped and observed. The old man's body then started to emit flashes of lightning that strikes anything that moves. A blue magic circle suddenly formed below him, the old man then yelled his skill.

“Wrath of the Thunder God!”

As he yelled his skill out, the other remaining hatchlings immediately charged towards the old man, this was a very foolish action indeed, as they weren't even able to come an inch near the old man as powerful lightning from the heavens above strikes down the foes that charged towards him. It only took one strike to kill all the seven hatchlings, which turned the hatchlings dead body to black charcoal.

Not only that, but the ground also turned black as lightning burns were imprinted on the ground. The old man turned to me and yelled, “Hey kiddo, now that's finished let's proceed to the main course. ”

I then went toward the old man who was stretching his body. Upon arriving near the old I man I immediately spoke, “You're also dangerous old man, now I can see why you said something about ranks not telling the true strength of an individual.”

“Well to tell you…I'm not bragging kiddo…but if I were younger I would have killed all of those hatchlings in three seconds. ”

“I would believe that story of yours than your story of having a harem when you were younger.”

“You're just jealous young man!” spoke the old man with a proud smug face.

This old dude, I kinda wanna punch his face with all of that smugness. But as I was going to speak to the old man, I suddenly noticed someone grabbed my left arm out of nowhere, my sensors didn't warn me, so it means it was someone I knew or someone who was non-hostile.

I then turned my head slightly to my left side and saw the familiar huge bohonkers pressing towards my arm. The size and the cleavage no doubt about it, this mountains was Bella's, who has now hugged my arms.

Bella looked at me and spoke with a seductive cutesy tone, “Mr. Destroyer how cruel of you for not noticing me.”

Cause I clearly didn't notice you, where did you even come from? Wait, something is strange about her stats, she also leveled up quite a bit. So she has obtained a new stealth skill which she might have used to sneak up on me.

Old man Razor's eyes almost popped out upon seeing a short-haired beauty like Bella with some valuable assets. I can even see his jealousy burning in his eyes, that he cannot keep it to himself anymore.

“What the hell! I'm so jealous of you now kiddo!” yelled Razor.

Old man Razor then went straight to my direction, I never saw him run as fast as this. He then looked at Bella who was still hugging my arm, but she noticed the old man Razor causing her to ask the old man.

“What… do you need Mr?” asked Bella with a creeped out voice.

Old man Razor looked at Bella like some sort of creep as he breathes heavily like a beast as he tries to answer Bella.

“Ahhhh….ahhhh…ahhh…m-missy….c-can….ahhh… you let… me…. squeeze… your.…zohonkers... I'll make sure you feel good.”

Bella then hides in my back and yelled at the old man Razor, “Ewww! Stay away from me creep!”

“Come on missy just let me have a touch, ” spoke old man Razor as a strand of saliva escapes his mouth, he then wiggled his two hands creepily as he moved forward to Bella's direction. I was kinda terrified by how his fingers moved, Bella had a creep out look at the old man that she almost wanted to cry.

“You're a virgin aren't you old man?” I spoke as the old man got close to Bella.

The old man stopped in his advance towards Bella and immediately replies to me, “No I'm not! I even told you that I sleeped with many women before, didn't I tell you that I had a harem of beautiful women before.”

“Really?” I asked with a tone of doubt.

“Why don't you believe me, young man! May I remind you that I have tasted some fine ladies during my prime.” Bragged the old man mightily.

“Then why are you having that creepy face when you saw this girl. This isn't normal for someone who has experience with women, also you're still having that creepy look on your face, could you stop that, your gonna give me nightmares.”

“How rude of you to point that out, fine, I admit everything was a lie about my harem. But I did sleep with women by crawling in their room at night and smelling their sweet hair as they sleep. Not only that, but their freshly worn panties is my favorite collection in the world, do you know how thrilling it is to sneak in the woman's bath to just to smell their freshly worn panties!”

“Hold up! Your giving away too many details that I didn't need to hear.”

Bella's scared looked turned into a look of disgust after hearing the old man. Not only that but Bella stopped hiding behind me, she then gripped her fist. A dark aura suddenly surrounded Bella as she charges towards the old man.

The old man who was having a creepy face suddenly had a scared face upon seeing Bella charge with the black aura. With one strike of her fist, Bella was able to knock the old man out, which caused him to have bubbles in his mouth as he laid unconscious in the ground.

“MASSIVE ENERGY HAS BEEN DETECTED!” yelled Xyra in my head, she then showed an arrow on my heads up display showing where the energy came from.

I immediately followed it and it leads me to the Megasaurus who had stopped on its advance. The towering spikes at the beast's back started to glow and started to gather glowing dust from every direction.

Xyra continued to block my display with warning signs about a massive energy being released and aimed towards our direction. But as I was looking at the beast, a gigantic magic circle suddenly appeared in its mouth.

“TELL EVERYONE INSIDE THE CAMP TO GET OUT IMMEDIATELY!” yelled Ann Marie which I can tell had a hint of worry and panic.
