Bella didn't run as she wanted to, she knew he would be watching her. The Alpha was vigilant and did not want her learning anything, he would use everything to prevent her lessons, so she chose to be the picture of loyalty to the Alpha family. She walked the corridor from the kitchen to the south study calmly so as not to cause his concern. At the door to the study she found herself standing there staring at the door. When it opened at exactly four o'clock she startled slightly.

"Please come in Bella. I see you are right on time." The Luna smiled at her.

"I am, I mean yes Luna I am according to the rules Alpha Declan put in place. I am in debted to your family for wanting to teach me my history. As a servant I feel very blessed." Bella kept her eye averted to the floor in standard fashion as she spoke softly to thee Luna.

"Well, please come in, we can start with your question from last night, if you still would like to start there." The luna was kind as she closed the door behind her.

"Thank you Luna Madred." Bella said softly as she found her chair and sat gently down for her first lesson.

"Isabella, did you know, there are members in our pack who would bend over backwards to appear to be more important in Alpha Declans kingdom?" The luna began this lesson with a question, one Bella was certain she didn't want to answer.

"Luna? I am not sure of what you are asking." She remanied poised and calm.

"I need you to understand a few things before we begin these lessons. I know you have concerns and I swear I will ease those, but there are some...shall we says boundaries that were built into this system years ago to protect me, you, and the knowledge from Anzalta I need to pass on to you." She turned to Bella facing her from the other side of the desk.

Bella was unsure of whether to believe her or not, what was she getting herself in to?

"I need to ask you Isabella, do you trust me?" the Luna gazed gently at Bella.

"I trust the Alpha family with my life Luna Madred." Bella offered obediantly.

"I am not asking if you trust the family Isabella, I am asking if you trust me, the woman who kept you alive and despite the Alphas anger have done all I could to keep you alive to fulfill the prophecy." The Lunas eyes shifted briefly glowing from within.

"Ma'am?" Bella questioned once again.

"Isabella" the luna began, "Look at me, deep in my eyes." Her voice calmed Bella.

Looking in to the lunas eyes she felt the warmth. saw the glow, and knew immediatlely, "Are you from Anzalta too?" Bella whispered.

"You must never say that." the luna shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

"You are. Why have you not told anyone, why have I been told I was all that was left? How can you be..."

The luna interupted, "This is all part of your lessons. I need to know I can trust you Isabella. There is a great deal of information you need to know in a short time. All I need to know is that I can trust you."

Bella thought for a moment, in the silence she heard Eirwen, "She is the key."

"You have my word Luna Madred, anything you teach me or I learn from you will remain between us. You have my trust and loyalty." the words were out of her mouth before she was fully invested in them.

"Good." the luna smiled once more, "You ask me a question last night, do you remember?"

"Why do you want to teach me my history now?" Bella ask once more.

"Exactly. I have thought about that question all night. I have so many reasons, but the one that is the most important is that you are the one from the prophecy and you must be taught specific things before the Bloodmoon gathering this year. You turn eighteen the day of the gathering and it is meant to be the begining of the prophecy."

"You know my birthdate?" Bella was shocked.

"Yes, Isabella, I have always known." Madred spoke softly.

"What else do you know, and how?" Bella was excited and a bit angry. Why had she never come to her before.

"I have had to keep a very tight circle in order to be able to complete my portion of the prophecy, and keep you safe. It hasn't been easy." Luna Madred was cautiouus again.

"What you would have me believe is that you kept me safe by letting the Alpha damn near kill me repeatedly over the past seventeen years, did you even know he was beating me and torturing me daily? No, you know don't answer that, I don't honestly care anymore, I am going back to my chores." Bella stood gathering her strength to go back to the hell she had known her entire life.

"Stop Izzy." Luna Madred spoke in a voice she had never heard before, it was inside her mind. Bella's gaze shot to the Luna

"How?" Is all she could ask.

"Sit and I will tell you." the Luna smiled.

Bella gently lowered herself back in to the chair wanting to know more.

"I trust you Isabella. I know all there is to know about you, and I have been with you through all of his torture, I know what you do not want anyone else to know, the things you keep in your mind where nobody else can hear them. You are the one, I know this because my brother entrusted me with you and our legacy the day he died. Isabella I am your aunt, and godmother, I brought you here to bring wolfkind back to glory and release them from the tyranny of Alpha Declan." Her eyes blazed with the golden glow inside of her.

"How does Alpha Declan not know this?" Bella was confused.

"I was his mate before he decemated our home. He knows I am Anzaltan, which is why I am only allowed to be cared for by a specific group of doctors and nurses, he keeps me alive and healthy without anyone else ever knowing I am. I was only allowed to bring you here because you were an abandoned orphan I found in a tree outside of my brothers palace. He believed you were a mutt, I am the only one who knew who you really are, Princess Isabella of Anzalta, Wolf Queen of Whewayo and the future of wolfkind."

"Yep you're crazy and I am done here. Whatever ridiculous parlor trick you just pulled I don't care I am nothing more than your servant and slave, do not look at me as anything more." Again Bella was standing up when inside her mind she heard a roar, "SIT DOWN NOW IZZY!"

"Why do you keep calling me Izzy, that is not my name." bella glared at the luna.

"Because I was hoping you'd hear your fathers voice, he use to call you Izzy." a tear slid down the lunas cheek.

"What?"

"Izzy, it is what your father called you, he loved you and your mother so much. Had they lived your mother and father as well as the litter of pups she was carrying, they would have ensured your queendom and the wolfking's kingdom would be one. As it is this falls to me, and I am honored to help you find your path to your throne." with that the luna bowed with great respect causing Bella to slump into the chair once more.

"I...I really don't know what to say." Bella was shook to her core.

"Izzy please the hour is almost over and I need to give you something."

"What?"

"Something to help keep you protected. An accronym, DTA, it stands for don't trust anyone, but I have used it so the pack knows it as down town Anzalta so they believe it is part of the history. This will keep you safe if ever you are in a room with me and someone comes in. It will alert you to whether or not you can trust them. If I say it you know I do not trust the person and neither should you. Do you understand?"

"Yes Luna." Bella answered as she always did.

"What you should know is that nobody else can link with you, only a pure Anzaltan, me, can do that. Trust no one Izzy, not even me in any situation we are not alone in, Trust your wolf only. She will help where I cannot, and I will link you so that you can become educated in all you need for the next steps in this prophecy, we will continue lessons and I promise you I will help you fulfill your destiny. Speak to no one about any of this, all will be revealed in time. I love you Izzy, and so do your parents from the other side they have been with you all along, you will be what you are destined to be. Don't trust anyone from this point on." the lunas voice was strong.

"I have never trusted anyone, you have nothing to worry about there. I have to go now Luna Madred, I will return for lessons tomorrow. Thank you, you have given me a lot to think about." Bella rose to her feet once more a little shakier than when she entered this room.

"I will see you tomorrow for lesson, and leave you in peace to think tonight. Izzy, I promise you will be okay, and you have nothing to fear either. I am here and the foundations I have built towards this are very strong, something to build on and ensure the prophecy strengthens wolfkind everywhere. Remember, DTA."
