The class test

It another day in school and as we were informed late that we are going to be having a test in chemistry everyone was bother and the class was unusually quiet as everyone was trying to read for fear of failure before Ryan and his friends walked in and started bragging about how easy chemistry was, and how he can attempt any question even without reading,I was obviously pissed but I didn't say a word because I believe I am not part of the people he is talking to.

The bell went off, the chemistry teacher came in we started the test.

the questions were easier that I expected and i attempted all confidently. I finished my work and cross checked on time before we were asked to submit.

After the test we were told to expect our results the next day. Everybody started complaining about how tedious the questions were apart from Mr Ryan and his friends of course. Everything was fine until I came back to class from the cafeteria where I went to get my lunch only for me to see proud Ryan on my seat.What!? I was vexed deep down but I still decided to act normal and ask him to leave my seat politely, I walked down to my seat, Ryan do you mind excusing me from my seat............ please, I said.

Then he replied by saying ohh my bad I actually came to ask you how the test was, I guess it was tough considering the fact that you haven't even resumed when he taught the topic, and I was also wondering what you were writing so frivolously in your answer booklet I hope it is not jargons? he said mockingly

The test was fine for me, you should be worried about your rude *ss because I really don't think you are so smart with this shitty attitude of yours, can I have my seat back now? I said giving him a fake smile. All the other students gasped as if they were surprised that I spoke back at the so called 'god' I almost choked over my laughter. Ryan also looked shocked as he stood up from my seat shamefully, he composed himself almost immediately and walked out of the class looking pissed. so he doesn't enjoy being paid back in his own coins, I felt so fulfilled.

The next day the teacher came to the class and he gave us back our scripts to see our scores for the test after his class, I can't believe it I scored 98% out of 100% and after everyone has gotten their he cleared his voice to speak,the class went dead silent. I am very much disappointed and surprised at the same time concerning the test results, disappointed because more than half of the class performed poorly, surprised because the new student Miss Emily Marshal was able to score 98% despite joining us late, making she and Mr stone to be the highest scoring in the test with the same score of 98%. Mr Ivan also tried he got 90% making him the second highest. You guys should keep it up and those that didn't do well should prepare to cover it up with the next test, thank you. He said before leaving the class.

All eyes were on me after he left the class and I could hear murmurs everywhere in the class. My eyes met with Ryan's and is that a smirk on his lips? this dude must be crazy. I saw Ivan walking towards me and when he was in front of me he said congratulations beautiful am Ivan Theodore , stretching his hand for a handshake and I shook him back saying thank you.He Sat down on the chair next to me and we had a convo which led to him giving me gists about the class and also telling me the names of our classmates and also various tips on some subjects. I spent my free period talking to Ivan and it felt like I finally have another friend apart from Aria whom can even qualify as my sister from another mother. It was fun chatting with him and laughed without even knowing it. I can finally get a smart female friend in this class he said and winked before leaving me smiling like a fool only for me to realize that Ryan have been staring at us the whole time looking very emotionless.
