Helena's backpack was practically ripped off her back and handed to Henry, who was standing closest to Primrose.
Keith arranged his things and wore his backpack on the front, leaving his back for Helena. He lowered himself to make it easier for her to climb on his back.
Helena wanted to refuse. How heavy was she and how hard it would be to climb up the mountain was clear to her.
"Get up. We'll be late." Primrose gripped her by the hand and made her hop onto his back.
The force of Primrose's actions left Helena speechless. The amount of effort Primrose was putting into this was unmatched. Even Helena wasn't as enthusiastic as she was!
Either way, Helena wrapped herself around him securely. It was the first time Helena had to ride on someone's back like this as an adult.
