Primrose wasn't surprised.
"I knew it. You were sobbing so loudly that the entire palace must have heard it. Yet you're trying to hide it?" Primrose pulled her by the arm.
Helena realised it was fruitless to hide it. She sat up and desperately wiped her face to remove any traces.
"Tell me honestly if anyone was unkind to you. Did something happen at home? Did mom or dad say anything?"
Primrose wasn't even close to the right answer but the more she spoke, the more Helena felt like crying again.
Why?
Why was she here to console her?
Helena was fine alone.
She wanted Primrose to go back but at the same time couldn't find the words to tell her to leave.
"They didn't say anything." Helena denied.
"What is it then?!" Primrose pulled her by the arm, making her sit up straight.
