Cardan walked in right when Cassius fed her some fish. Primrose looked up and choked on it.
Cassius noticed his brother as well. He simply nodded in greeting, then started patting her head to make sure the food doesn't go up her nose.
Primrose looked up with water in her eyes.
"Your majesty," she greeted hoarsely.
Cardan wasn't going well recently. His eyes were bloodshot and the eyebags were heavy and dark. He thinned out quite a bit as well.
