When Primrose returned and heard from Florence that she was already two months pregnant, Primrose thought of taking a test too.
The last two months were full of lawless indulgence for them. She was worried about them going overboard and ending up with a bun in the oven.
The test came out negative, just as she was hoping. But then she started to feel strangely sad about it.
Coming to the present time, Primrose still didn't know if she was ready to bear the responsibility of a baby but she was most definitely looking forward to it.
She met Cassius's eyes above her. She pulled on his collar and mumbled against his lips, "Darling, is it difficult?"
His control snapped. He bit her ear and said, "I'll just have to work harder then. This is what you asked."
