Reena POV:
I could tell that Atlas was hesitant to let me talk to Kyle, and I understood why. I followed Atlas to his office, where he said Kyle would meet us. We had only been in the office for a few minutes when Kyle knocked on the door and entered. I watched as he walked in; his head bowed and slightly tilted to the side, and his eyes trained on the floor. “Alpha Atlas,” he greeted as he stood before the large desk. He seemed a little uneasy, perhaps nervous. There was the ‘alpha’ again. “Reena would like to talk to you,” Atlas replied, motioning towards me. Kyle nodded but never looked up.
