I wasn't sure what to expect after getting the phone call from Branson. I had heard of him; he'd done an excellent job making a name for himself after becoming Alpha. I was relieved to know Reena was okay and being protected, but I wasn't expecting the bombshell of Reena being his mate too. Honestly, I didn't believe him when he told me. Anger coursed through me when he first said it. My initial thought was that Reena was going to be used against me in some way, or Branson was saying that because he wanted her for himself. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, and I know other's see her the same way. But when he invited me to his pack to discuss this further and see Reena, I knew in my gut he was telling the truth.
