Atlas POV:
It’s hard to believe that I had been out of it the way I was. I hate that I left Reena unprotected; though she says I didn’t. She had Kyle, Harley, and the rest of the pack looking out for her in my absence. But it is my job, as her mate, to protect her and care for her. That seems to be the main thing eating away at me. I watched as she spoke to Harley in the corner of my office. She had been sticking close to me since I woke and had been beside me every step since leaving the hospital.
She’s so strong and beautiful, and a little bossy. I love this side of her if I’m being honest. She tried to order me to stay in the hospital even after I was released. ‘You’ve only just woken, I’m no doctor but shouldn’t you stay for observation for at least another day or two!’ she had huff
