Chapter III

1006 Words
Scarlett I was at work (since its summer semester and I only have two classes, I got a job), the café got empty, and the emptiness gave me time to get lost on this morning. What is wrong with me? Have I lost my mind? In the restroom? Worse than that, the school restroom. That guy has the ability to get me lost in my desires. I can’t allow that, if someone had seen us, we would have been expelled. What is wrong with me? He f****d me so well, his d**k inside felt like it was going to take me out of this world. No, no, no, it can’t happen again in the school, wherever we want not the school. I just meet him yesterday, oh my gosh, I’m doing everything wrong. “Are you ok?” Charlotte asks “Yeah, no worries. Just some homework that I have. You know how is school Charlotte” “Don’t tell me, first day and the teacher already gave us tons of homework” I move to the tables area to start cleaning and distract my self from William, but nothing seems to work. I sweep and go inside the kitchen to place the broom back where it belongs. One of the cookers who is the owner of the café looks at me and tells me ‘’What is wrong with you today?” I just shrug my shoulders. She keeps going “Is a man, and by the look on your face is deep, let me tell you something. Enjoy the moment, how long it lasts. Take your head of it and throw yourself into him” I smile with a sigh to go back to the register. Costumers are piling up to Charlotte. I open the next register and start taking orders. Latisha I yawn while sitting in the classroom “Hey Latisha” Charlotte catches me yawning. I feel relived to see Charlotte, we need the credits of this class even though we are aiming for different degrees. “Hey did you see Scar yesterday?” Charlotte asks “Yes, I did. We are doing the same shift this week, well until tomorrow” Charlotte continues the conversation “Yesterday she wasn’t at work that much, do you know if she is having problems or something?” Charlotte says in worried tone. “oh my god” I said when the events click in my mind and Charlotte stares at me. I continued “Well I think our dear friend is having vaginal feelings. I saw her with a guy, and she seemed nervous. I think she got over that dirt bag of his ex” I continued talking to Charlotte in whispering mode, because we don’t want anybody to know our friend intimate life (until the professor arrived). “Good morning everyone…” Charlotte and I looked each other like let’s do it. Its our penultimate semester if we pass our summer classes. Hey I’m going rafting this weekend do you want to come?” I ask Charlotte “Let me see how the schedule of the café is for the weekend and I’ll let you know” Charlotte says in a positive tone “I wish my parents were rich like yours so I could focus only in school and be able to have time to relax” Charlotte continues “Nope, trust me been rich is not as cool as you think it is. In my family everything is about the money, everything is measured in money, how successful we are, how good a school is, how much my parents love us. They measure everything in how much it costs or spend. We were alone most of the time and busy between school and extracurricular classes” I argue “Sometimes I forget how lonely you grew up, I’m sorry. Now you have us to keep you company” Charlotte hugs me, leaving behind the classroom. We are walking out of the school and this handsome guy passes in front of us “He’s a teacher” Charlotte whispers. I look at his backpack and it looks familiar, but from where? William What a day. I tell myself while walking out of the school. I pass these two ladies who were staring at me, but I don’t know them. How weird. I keep walking heading towards my apartment. It’s a cool weather, even chilly for me. I’m used to Florida and now here to the edge of the mountain is refreshing. Even the sun feels different. Will see what destiny has for me. I keep walking and observe everything. Traffic is heavy. People are busy, some biking other walking, and other ones waiting for the bus. I have a new city for me to explore. Lots of walking and the mountain waits for me. I’ll see what to do this weekend. On my way home I stop at a local gift shop to see what to do where to go and if will need a car for the new city. I might invite Scarlett to take me through the city. I don’t really know if she is from here or somewhere else, we didn’t get to that point. I arrive home and start looking at the magazines. Well, it seems I need a 4X4. The lady at the store told me it can get messy up in the mountains and during winter time if I don’t know how to drive with the snow I shouldn't be out there causing crashes. Locals, always to judgmental, I don’t blame her. I lived in new England for two years, so I know my way around. I lift my gaze and I realize I need to unpack; the moving company left my furniture where they think it goes. I better put hands to work. First of all, my bedroom I start putting the bed together, my clothes in the closet. Toiletries in the bathroom. I arrange the living room the way I like it. Unpack the few pots and pan I have. Fill in the kitchen cabinets. It’s 9.30 I better get, a shower, eat something and go to sleep, tomorrow I have to wake up to go to classes.
