Elena's POV

'This son of...no no he is much worse than that. How the f*** is he gonna make my girl cry? Oooh I want to just rip him to shreds but I promised I wouldn't tonight.' I think to myself as I make my way downstairs to make sure the DJ has the playlist for Mama Sandy.

'I know you are upset Elena but the time will come for him.' Aquaria said to me. 'Yes but because I have to hold back is what makes me mad. I love my girls but you know I am protective.' I replied.

'Understandable but tonight we have to restrain ourselves you are not the only who is mad at that idiot.' she says growling at the end.

*sighs deeply*

I continue to make way outside towards the booth. 'I have to say the Luna knows how to have a party. These decorations are beautiful.' The theme to tonight Masked by Moonlight and already everyone is picking out their mask to wear tonight. Luckily mine is light and not so heavy I don't want to hide the hard work the make up artist did. I know the mask for the others are the similar but we don't have to wear them all night just for the Moon rites and the first dance. Beautiful silvers and white gold decorations. I continue to make my way to the DJ booth but then I see the Moon goddess statue. I approach the offering table and hold my hands together for a small prayer.

'Oh beloved Moon Goddess, I know I do not often offer my prayers but tonight I ask that Serene, Letty and myself enjoy tonight without worry. Especially Serene, with everything that just happened to her I want her to salavage tonight with happiness and good memories. Thank you.' I finish my prayer and offer a Lavender flower to her table.

"Hey Elena, hello...Elena hey!" I turn to see Nick calling to me from the DJ booth. I continue making my way over to them.

"Whats up?" I asked.

"Do you have the confirmed playlist for him? He just wants to double check from what mom and Serene gave him?" Nick asked.

I handed the paper copy list to the DJ. "Awesome thanks and by the way. You are definetly one fine lady, how about being my hype lady on the stage?" First thought that came across. 'No thanks.' I respond with a soft smile, "Sorry but I am actually apart the birthday girls group and would hate to miss out on our girl time. So no thanks." But Nick could tell behind that smile I wanted to drop kick him. Mainly to let out my fustration but he would not have guessed why just that I was not thrilled getting hit on by a guy near my dads age.

Before he could respond I look at Nick, "Hey I am heading back inside for a bit but after greetings could you start with the Debut song and speech for her announcement for me?"

"Sure thing I don't mind." Nick replied.

"You are the best thanks Nick." I give him a fist bump and make my way back inside. *Deep breathe* 'I hope tonight goes better for Serene. I hate that she has to hide this until tomorrow.'

Aquaria, 'You know how she is, she is not doing this because she wants to, she is doing so that those that love her will not make any scene. Especially with the King and Queen dowagers arrival. Tonight is more than her Birthday but the Moon rites for the Goddess.'

'You are right...it is frustrating that I can't just run or go to the training grounds and take out my frustration on something.' I respond.

'Oh look who it is..the bastard.' Aquaria says and begins to growl.

I focus more on where I am at and there he was that bastard Travis. I turn my gaze from him because the longer I stare at him the more pissed off I will be. I walk towards the den near the kitchen and almost trip over someone I bumped into.

"Ouch, I am sorry are you...okay." 'Great someone I do not want to deal with also Maria'

Maria straightens herself and glares at me. "Watch where you are going! You almost ruined my dress." Looking at her dress typical look for her. Honestly hate disrespecting other females but Maria was a different species. The dress she wore looked like near see through. Hopefully it was the lighting, I do not want to see what is underneath gag.

"Maria I am not in the mood, I apologized so get the stick out of your smug a**. I don't have time for your bitchy attitude." I say back to her. I continue to walk past her, she mumbles under breath "Your lucky there are others around or I would...". Before she could finish her sentence I turn around and punch my fist hard against the wall near her head. The look on her face was completely worth the damages to the wall.

"Oops..I seemed to have missed, careful or the next woords out of your mouth will be a one way trip to the pack hospital. Got it Maria?" I said to her sternly. Maria is always all bark and no bite with me, I wanted to take out my frustration well looks like I have a new punching bag.

She says nothing and I pull back my fist and continue to walk away from her.

"Elena, sorry to bother some visiting pack members are causing some issues with other members." Lori an omega from the kitchen got my attention. "I think I made it worse."

I look at her and see it written on her face worry. "It is okay where is this happening?" I asked.

"Valet, Brett is there I came in to find someone and saw you immediately." she replied.

"Thank you Lori. Go ahead and see if they don't need help with the catering."

"Okay thanks Elena." Lori said before leaving me. *Sigh* 'I swear if it is not one thing it is another' I make my way towards the front entrance. So far the three dorkateers are not greeting so who is causing a scene. I start making my way outside and of course the sleeziest of nasty men. Alpha Enriquez son Jordan next in line as Alpha to Moon Lake.

"I am not gonna have an omega valet my vehicle especially one that looks like he has not showered in days." Jordan says out loud. Brett already looking like he is ready to tear off his head responds with such self control. "Sir I was advised to valet all guest vehicles order given by my Luna. If you won't allow me to continue my job then you can park it yourself." Jordan glares at Brett and responds, "Excuse me who are you to tell me what to do you filthy omega." Both men start to growl along with those standing around them.

"ENOUGH!" I raise my voice at them and continue to walk towards them. I may not have any rank but I earned my place as an elite guard for my pack. Brett and the rest of the pack members began to regain composure. While Jordan and his mutts still bared their fangs. "Do not make repeat myself Jordan you are visiting our pack and on our territory. I am pretty sure your father has had to remind you to be mindful of your stupid attitude." I said to him. "The rest of you please continue with your work as we know our Luna will not be pleased with anyones defiance or embarassing the pack."

Before any of them started walking away of course all of them could not help themselves with their glares and growls. 'I swear men, well time to get on with it.'

"Now as Brett mentioned if you have an issue with him taking your vehicle to park it then sounds like a you problem. Park it yourself Jordan, Brett please help the next arriving vehicle." I said to both of them. "Sure Elena, excuse me sir." Brett said but as he passed both myself and Jordan he whispers "Thank you E." I smiled quickly at him. I cleared my throat and then said, "Well excuse me gentlemen I need to finish checking off a few things for tonight." As I was turning away I felt someone grab me but before I could do anything. As quickly it was there it was gone, I turned to see a tall figure with their back turned towards me.

"Get your damn hands off of me, do you know who I am." Jordan growled saying this. The figure in front of me said, "I do not care no man should be agressively grabbing a woman. I suggest you do as the lady says and park your vehicle." Jordan just stares and yanks his hand away. "Whatever this is some B***s***." he says before leaving to his vehicle.

"Thank you, you did not have to do that. I could have easily handled him." I said to him. "It was no trouble besides someone as beautiful as you I could not..." as he turned around saying this everything just stopped. and only one thing was said from us both. "Mate."

'Elena it is him our mate.' Aquaria says happily. It was him our mate this gorgeous man was our mate. Getting more of a good look at him he was definetly 6ft, black curls with a tapers haircut style and deep brown eyes. His scent honey mixed with lavendar and autmun leaves. "What is your name?" he asked. "Elena" I replied. There he was my mate, I could not believe it mixed emotions started racing though my mind. I began to feel dizzy for a moment like the world was spinning. "Elena are you alright?' he asks. As it was natural. We instinctivly reach for each other, our hands touched and like sparklers there it was our mate bond.

"I can not believe the Goddess has blessed me with someone as beautiful as you Elena." He says to me. He begins to lean more closer to me, as much as I wanted him there and now as much as he wanted me. I place my hand firmly against his chest that I can tell was toned. I took the longest deep breath in and centered myself. "Sorry but what is your name, you maybe my mate but a gentleman would at least introduce himself." I stare at him seeing him taken aback by my action and his pouting face was too cute.

"Sorry I just could not help myself." he carefully and gently takes my right hand bringing it close to his lips. "My name Matthew Izara. But I go by Matt, now we have final met properly my lovely mate." Then he kisses my hand, which that allow sends shivers and goosebumps. He then stares right at me with a small smile and a chuckle. "Careful there I would want to ruin your dress just yet." He pulls me in close to his chest and nuzzles his face into my neck.

'Oh this man will be trouble..but in a very good way.' Just thinking this with our bodies pressed against each other I was feeling very aroused and I could tell he was too. His arms wrapped around me. his scent was becoming my next sweet addiction I couldn't get enough. "Well you my dear are very daring." He says against my ear grazing his lips along my ear lobe.

Just like that it was over thanks to one person, "Elena, girl there you are we need to start with handing out mask to the guest...Oh who is this?" Letty shouts at us breaking the mood.

I pull back and look back at her, "Way to kill the mood Letty. *sigh* I am sorry Matt, allow me to introduce my amazing bestie. Leticia Mendoza. Letty this is my Mate Matt."

"Hi there, sorry for stealing her from you, I just wanted to have for a little longer." Matt says to Letty.

Letty was silent for what seemed like forever.

"Letty you good chica?" I asked her.

Instantly she hugs, "Girl I am so happy for you. Haha you finally found your mate." she says. I hug her back trying so hard not to cry.

"Look her Matt, break her heart and you will be answering to me as well as our other bestie. You got me?" Letty says to Matt.

He chuckles and then grabs my hand kisses it once more. "I would never dream hurting my beautiful Elena." He says. Matts eyes glaze over which meant that someone was mindlinking him. Then turn back normal and he then says, "I am sorry ladies I have to return to my party to grab something from the car. But Elena will you save me a dance. I would love to get to know you more please."

"Of course I would love that, I will see you near the Hummingbird statue by the stairway."

"I look forward to it, see you soon. Nice to meet you Letty." Matt kisses my hand once more and starts to walk back towards the line of vehicles.

"Girl did that just really happen."Letty asks me before we walk back towards the entrance. "Ya it did I found and met my mate." I replied back to her.

"I will have to let know Serene later not right away I know she is trying to remain composed. I know she will be happy for me."

Letty nods, "I agree lets finish handing out mask first and once we are done you can tell her."

"Sounds like a plan."

We then make our way to the table that has a variety of mask and begin to handing them out all the guest.

'Thank you for answering my prayers.' I say to myself.
