Chapter 6

Serene's POV

*Alarm blaring in the background.*

I slowly reached over to my phone to turn off the alarm I set for my short nap. I stretched myself out like a starfish on my comfy king-size bed. But before I got up, I heard my door open and there was Elena stretching her arms above her head before speaking.

"Hey sleepy head Letty called saying she is 15 minutes away. Let's head downstairs to the movie room to get the popcorn and snacks ready along with the movie." she said.

"Sounds good to me. Let me grab my comfy movie blanket and pillow. Did you grab yours and Letty's comfy blankets/pillows?" I asked as I went to my closet.

"Yes everything is there except snacks, movie and our cute selves," she responded.

I smiled and giggled softly. We started walking out of my room and into the hall to head downstairs. I see that mom did not hesitate to start having all the staff members and omegas help with set up and cleaning the pack house. Since our guest of honor is THE KING himself, the entire pack is buzzing with excitement, especially the single females here. But at the moment I just don't want to focus on his arrival along with the other packs but enjoy movie night with my girls since my birthday is tomorrow.

Elena snaps me back into reality asking me for the salted movie popcorn butter. I handed her the bottle and continued to set up the movie on the projector. I hear foot steps approaching the room and sure enough the smell of pizza could only me Letty is here.

"Hola chica's, whose hungry because I am starving hehe." Letty comes in happy and loud as always. One of the many things I love about her.

"I am please tell me you got my meat lovers stuffed crust pizza?" I asked feeling my mouth water from the smell of the pizza.

"Yes I did and with some wings. Are we all set for our movie? Is there anything else we need?" she asked.

"We have everything plates, napkins snacks, drinks and movie is ready so we are good to go. Except popcorn should be done in a few minutes." Elena said.

"Oh wait, our dresses. We need to try them on before my mom drags me down the hall for not checking to see if they don't need any tailoring." I said quickly. Knowing my mom she would and was not going to have her wrath on me today after what she did to my brothers.

"Oh crap your right, let's do that real quick." Elena agreed.

We quickly run out of the movie room to the powder room on the other side of the stairs to start trying on our dresses. Luckily just as we were in the dressing rooms my mom comes in with the tailor to double check our fittings for our dresses.

"Okay girls lets see how you look." Mom beckoned us to come out. We each step out and looked at each other my mom knew how to shop especially for dresses. Elena's dress was a Maxi Satin deep forest green with a floral lace pattern design, Letty's was a bodycon lavender with a sweetheart neckline, and it had a small shimmer to the fabric which made me think of stars.

"You both are gorgeous, Mom you did an amazing job picking out their dresses." I said to them all.

"Thank you Mija, but you are absolutely beautiful." Mom commented.

"She is right Serene. I love your dress." Letty said.

"Girl looking like a goddess with that body, Oh snap." Elena said snapping her fingers in a sassy way.

I really do love my dress and the girls were not kidding like I honestly did not recognize myself. Do not get me wrong. I was not in full glam yet but I am not use to this kind of attire. The dress my mom had picked out was a royal blue A-line chiffon off the shoulder with a sweep train but not too long which was amazing. I could not wait to see how it would fully look all dolled up.

"Wow I love it." I pressed my hands together over my lips, smiling and loving every bit of this dress. My mom comes over and turns me to face her.

Lifting my chin with her hand to meet her eyes. "Mi amor, so beautiful tomorrow is not only the lunar rites but your birthday and I do not know if tomorrow you will meet your mate but just know that he will be one lucky man." she said.

"Thank you mom." I responded to her. She motions the tailors assistant to bring her the black boxes that had each of our names of them.

"For my 3 daughters, yes I am not your mother but ever since Serene brought you over for her tea party after school, I knew you both would be her sisters for life. So here is my gift showing my thanks and love for everything. As well as for my daughter Serene mija this is part of your birthday gift and reminding you that you my daughter are amazing, sweet and a kind soul." Mom says as she hands us each a box to open.

We all screamed with joy and shock. Each box had a different set that complimented all of us, Elena had a full jewelry set gold with emerald stones, her earrings were gold spiral dangles, Letty had also a full set jewelry of silver with white diamonds, her earrings are silver hoops medium size not big, and mine was full jewelry set silver plated as well but with sapphire gemstones which is my birthstone. My earrings are tear drop studs which matched my necklace and bracelet.

"Thank you mom it is all beautiful." I said and hugged her.

"Thank you Luna for these gifts we love them." both Elena and Letty said together. Which my mom looked at them and said, "I know my daughters did not call me Luna and not mom." She responded with a small chuckle.

We all laughed and hugged her in a big group hug. As we started to get changed ny stomach rumbled loud and I said to the girls. "Okay I am literally starving lets hurry and eat cause I think our pizza is cold.".

Letty responded, "I asked one of the kitchen staff to put the pizzas and wings in the food warmers so they stayed warm. So It will be fine."

"Look at Letty thinking ahead hehe, but ya no Serene's right I am starving and a b**ch be hangry hehe." Elena said.

Shaking my head laughing we all start heading to the movie room and made sure the food was brought over before we hit play for the movie.

"Sisterhood of the traveling pants is my all time favorite books series and love the movies." I commented as the movie was about to start.

Time passes as the movie was more than halfway through. Elena speaks up, "Pause for the cause bathroom break ladies be right back." "I think that is a good idea, I want more pizza and another soda." I agreed with Elena. "Movie is paused for the cause. I am gonna get some popcorn." Letty responded.

Just as I was about to get up I hear Elena going off at someone. "What the hell you doing you fat a's? That us our pizza." I look too see of course it is my brothers and Travis piling their plates with our food.

"Sorry E I am starving and we smelled the pizza on our way outside. Please can we have some?" Adrian says begging. Here come the puppy dog eyes, no pun intended, and with how he is begging it can go either way.

Elena shakes her head and says "It is not just up to me ladies what do you think?"

"Honestly I brought too much and with tomorrow I am pretty sure we will not have a chance to eat it all.

Letty replied.

"I agree you guys can have some but next time dorks ask." I said as I went over to smack both of my brothers arms.

I snickered under my breathe watching as my brothers begin to fill their plates. I turn to my left to walk over to grab a drink and before I could take another step. I bumped into somthing tall and hard. Almost tripping over my foot I feel two strong arms wrap around my waist to keep me balanced.

Near my head in a low husky voice, "You okay darling?" Travis whispered to only I can hear.

'Darling?' He only called that once a long time ago but he has not used that in a while.

I quickly start to straighten myself up and step back. "Yes...I am okay thank you. Excuse me." I responded softly.

Feeling my cheeks burning red I knew I was blushing hard. Oh god that obvious much, i shake my head and grabbed a can of Coke and press it against my check to cool me off.

"Hey since everyone is here and the movie is almost done in the next 40 minutes. How about after we play some fighting games or any game on the playstation?" Letty said out loud to so everyone could hear her.

Nick responded "I am down for that, you guys in?" He looks over to Adrian and Travis.

"Heck ya, I vote for Tekken or Mortal Kombat." Adrian replied.

"I am in for pretty much anything." Travis said.

I nodded from where I was and walked back to my seat to finish the movie with everyone. Sure enough Travis sits right next to me. This man will be the death of me one day, he is way to damn fine and goddess he smells amazing. I wish it was just the two of us alone and we can cuddle with each other here. 'Snap out of it chica, one everyone else is here and probably will notice you acting weird and two he is in a relationship. I am not gonna be that kind of girl period.' I think to myself as I try to focus on the movie. But hard to do that with him next to me and sure enough time flew by thank goodness.

As everyone began to set up the playstation I saw how each and everyone person in the room was someone I loved. I could not ask the goddess to change the blessings she has given me. There it was the weird ringing sound I heard earlier like someone was watching or saying something. It was a feeling that was omnimous and possesive. I tried to shake it off but it was still there.

Finally hearing Elena's voice brought me back to what was going, "Hey girl your up and your going against Nick for the first match." Elena said.

"Sounds good, ready to get your a** beat Nick?" I said with a small laugh.

"Pfft please like you could. Hurry up so I can beat yours." He said with a slight smug with a chuckle to his voice.

The match begins and we finished the night with only laughter. Tomorrow is my birthday so let see what the goddess has in store for me and my fate.
