Evan “Are you sure you don’t want to call someone?” the doctor asked me. I tilted my head and looked up at the ceiling, wanting to scream due to the pain radiating through my damn body. I f****d up. Big time. “I’m good. Just need those discharge papers so I can go home. I need to see my daughter.” I didn’t even look at the doctor who just stood there. He gave me a nod and left the room.
