What Can’t Be Fixed

Chapter 2

Kayden POV(protector in Cronos's system)

As I was pushed to the front I noticed Cole was behind me beginning to push me. That’s when I got up and turned around. I think the worst thing about that was that I got up so calmly, as if no one was doing anything in the first place. I looked Cole straight in the eye, stared for a second, then punched him. Straight in the nose.

“What the heck was that for?!!!” He screamed at me.

At the time there were no adults/teachers in the room so when the other two came after me, no one stopped them. That was their mistake though. I punched one, stepped on the other one's calf and pulled his arms behind him. By then a teacher came in and saw me. She yelled at me to stop, as if it was my fault! I wouldn’t

have attacked them if they hadn’t attacked me!

I went to the principal's office with the other three and sat down. When the principal sat down he looked surprised to see me. Cuz I’m a goodie 2 shoes. (note the sarcasm)

“I’m very surprised to see you here Cronos, you three on the other hand… What happened to you?” The principal asked. His name is Matthew Gonzales

“The little s**t punched me!” Cole yelled.

“And you? What did he do to you? ” He seemed unconvinced.

“All he did was restrain me, there might end up being a bruise in my calf though...” the other goon stated. The principal then looked at me with a questioning look.

“Did you do that?” He asked me.

“Yeah Matt, I did. Got a problem?” I responded with as much annoyance and attitude as possible which seemed to confuse him further, as Cronos had never done anything like that, well sucks cuz I’m not Cronos.

“And why did you do that? You usually just ignore them and walk away.” He said, that’s the problem, Cronos never stood up for himself.

“Well Maybe that’s just it, maybe Cronos snapped! Maybe he has other s**t going on than to be dealing with these fucktards that have nothing better to do than torment someone who never did anything to them! Maybe, just maybe did you consider the fact that Cronos has s**t going on at home?! Did you know him and his brother are just waiting to be adopted! He never would have left if I hadn’t forced him to!” I then pull my shirt off and do a 360.

“ Look at this bullshit!!! I have been here for the past 3 years dealing with this because Cronos was too scared to leave!! Do you know how hard it is to be stuck in someone’s head, in pain, not being able to do anything about it!!!” I then turn around to show them what I know is the scar Cronos despises.

“ You see these words!! They’ve been there for the past 3 years!! I’m only in f*****g middle school and these have been here for 3 years!! What would you do if when you woke up in the morning the first thing you felt was pain?! What would you do if you had to sneak out every morning just to go to school?! How would you feel if even when your at school, the mental a***e doesn’t stop!!” At that point the principal can see that I’ve

Lost it, the vice principal has called my foster parents and they look at me as if I’m crazy.

“These dumb asses had it coming for them! All I did is punch them and their lucky I got caught or it would have been one hell of a f*****g lot worse” by then I calm down and sit down noticing I’m about to switch. I stare at a wall as the silence continues and switch back to Cronos.
