Eva cried to herself when she waited but no voice or sound ever came toward her door. She should have been relieved that he had not come but instead she was left alone by him as well.
Dimitri had just come home when his phone started ringing so he did not go to his bedroom instead he goes to the study so that he would not disturb Eva.

"Get our men to be on alert, we might as well soon receive some backlash," Dimitri said his voice turning cold, they knew once they killed the other sidesman it would mean more trouble.
