Mystery Guy

Another day started and another bad day for Teffy, but still, the same girls bullied her, not only because they were envious of her performance in the class, but also because she was from the country Philippines. They could not accept that a girl from other country could do better than them. Despite that, Teffy did not mind what they said about her nor spoke to them bitterly.

One afternoon, as Teffy went to her locker, she saw flowers and chocolates with a note that said, "Roses are red, violets are blue, my heart says, 'I'm into you!'" She had no idea as to who put the flowers as well as the card and chocolates inside her locker because their was no name written on the card. She didn't even know how those stuff were put in there, since the key was with her.

A girl named Katy Grande was so envious of Teffy because Harry Horan, the campus' crush had a secret fondness for Teffy. Katy was the most popular girl in the school because she was a cheerleader of the campus, and she was also millionaire because she was the only heiress of her parents who owned big companies. She was in a second year college as well as Harry Horan when Teffy came in that university as a college freshman.

Katy wanted Harry so bad since they were in first year college; however, Harry never courted her, so she confessed her feelings to him, but Harry said he had no feelings for Katy. And now that Katy noticed that Harry secretly sent flowers and chocolates to the freshman, she would do anything to make Teffy's life a living hell.

On the way to her apartment, Teffy noticed that a guy was following her. She was afraid of the guy because she couldn't recognize the face, since the guy wore a mask to cover his nose and mouth so that no one could recognize him. While Teffy was walking so fast, she also noticed that the four alcoholic men in a one-way street were becoming near to her and about to grab her hand. Because of her fearfulness, she shouted and became unconscious.

Teffy woke up and could not believe that she was in her room with Madison on her side. She asked her friend why she got there in her room, and then Madison explained that there was a guy who took her to their apartment and then immediately left when she opened the door.

Teffy and Madison were in the same apartment because Madison decided to move in to where Teffy was staying in. Madison was from New York City, so she had to rent an apartment for her to stay in. She chose to study in England instead in U.S.A because she wanted to be independent. She wanted to go far away from her parents for her not to rely on them.

On the day that Teffy was carried by the mystery guy to their apartment, Madison was already there inside. She didn't know what happened to Teffy because the guy immediately left as she opened the door. She heard only few words from him saying, "Please take care of her!" Madison wasn't able to ask the guy about what really happened to Teffy before she became unconscious.

And now that Teffy was back to her consciousness, she told Madison that there were four alcoholic men who were about to grab her hand, and because of her fearfulness, she shouted and wasn't able to know what happened next. She didn't know who helped her. But based on what Madison had said about the mystery guy, she then matched the description coming from Madison with what she saw about the guy wearing mask before she encountered the four alcoholic men, and realized the guy was not as bad as what she thought.
