Ancient earth

My dreams for the past how many days were super weird...I didn't really think much of it cuz with all that was happening right now I didn't think anything could get anymore weirder. In my dream,the sky was red with thick smoke everywhere...stars were falling and it could be visible...Soo visible from here..the moon was extremely close to earth that it affected our gravity...what the heck it was like seeing a supernova for the first time while losing oxygen... people were dying some were dead.
I looked up and there were objects falling from the sky..some were headed for me . shitt..I ran fast trying to dodge the objects falling.Immediately I found somewhere safe to hide for the moment I saw people in masses robbing every supermarket or grocery store they could see around the corner..I was busy watching what was unfolding I hadn't realized the noise people began running away from..gunshots were heard three times.
I got up again and this time around I began to run Soo hard my legs hurt badly but at this point I didn't care if my leg hurt badly I just kept on running...and then that's when I saw it...blood... coming out from the white shirt I was seemingly wearing in my dream,I was shot..I turned back and looked at the person who shot me as he quickly picked up my wallet and ran away....blood ..blood...blood..my head was spinning so fast as I began gasping for air..my lungs were giving up on me...I can't die..not now..not yet..I tried shouting for help but no one could here me but people were all around me...I cried and begged for help but still no one could hear me..soon enough I couldn't talk anymore,I opened my mouth to talk but words weren't coming out ...only tears were coming out from my eyes.
Immediately I jolted awake,I touched my eyes and dried tears were there as if I had been crying for long,I got up and took a mirror and saw my eyes were red and swollen..was I still crying in real life.
I sat down back on my bed as fear began creeping in,was I stupid or crazy for wanting to allow an ai chip be inserted in my brain...was I gonna die or was this heavens sign of telling me to abort this mission,I looked down at my palms and as much as I hated to admit it flashbacks from my dream kept popping in my head and the more I looked at my palms the more blood I saw all over it...it hurt badly.
I cleaned my eyes wore my clothes and stepped out,since this wing of the building was new to me I just kept on walking around till I saw an open office and decided to go in..nobody was inside,on the table I saw lots and lots of files across the table..I picked one up and looked at it closely as I read it....oh my God...there was no more money to sponsor another trip to space, apparently from what I heard NASA had put in all the money they were being given by the government in buying the rocket that got pulled into the moon..as I was looking at more papers someone came in ...I panicked and began explaining at some point I just got bold to ask and turns out it was Steve office,the NASA representative that handled our second briefing...I looked at him sternly and asked him how come a whole NASA couldn't afford to get a rocket to carry on the next mission..he looked at me and said; there's no more money ,the government has stopped funding us since they're trying to find all ways to evacuate their own families from the danger zones...but what the heck the truth is no one knows the danger zone..things are gonna happen,things we've never seen..and we've decided to shut this mission down...how do we carry on with something we know nothing about,the scientist who were brought apparently they don't know what to do...they've tried all experiments and last minute researches they could think of but nothing... nothing at all.
We've all decided to leave and abandon this mission...if we can't find out what to do then maybe the world isn't actually worth saving. I stared at him as he started packing his belongings,his books....HIS BOOKS...Steve since you said we've never seen something like this in modern age...maybe it's not a tech,maybe its not even ai... Wat do you mean;he said..
What if it's something we never knew existed up until now but has always existed long before us.... I said..Steve stared at me confused like I had just said gibberish..I explained it to him one more time..and that's when it hit him,maybe I was right...we went out of the building with permission since we hadn't gone out for a long time..and whoa..everywhere was silent like as if people hadn't been living there for long...we didn't want to stand too long as there wasn't any time to waste so we hurriedly got to the city's historical archives and tried looking for experiences that had happened globally with all the signs we'd seen currently and voila we found it...yeah yeah we had to go to the restricted part of the library to actually look for more articles but you won't blame us no one was around..we looked down at the giant super dusty old brown leather book in my hands..this part of the library shelves looked like it hadn't been cleaned for millions of years.
We opened the book and flipped through it's pages keenly..there were records of strange things which were currently happening to us...this was somehow recorded about 200 million years ago and was saved by the archeologist who found it buried deep in the sahara,somehow this book manged to exist up till our time... We flipped the pages as we found out that this same thing had happened to our ancestors long before us..it all began 200 million years ago,when our ancestors wanted to make life easier and more enjoyable for mankind so the head of each clans of the world now known as presidents... all came towards the center of the earth and stayed there for years trying to figure out how they could achieve this aim of theirs to simplify mankind's existence untill suddenly they did it,they had created what was known as the ancient ai....at first this artificial intelligence were placed in each homes all over the world,they were used for everything,even to control the weather and atmosphere based on how the clan leaders thought it suitable for their people....things were moving smoothly untill one day a famine happened..the people were shocked so was the clan chief because this was never bound to happen,at first it wasn't taken seriously but then the famine got so much and the weather could no longer be controlled,the clan head whose people were facing the problem,called and pleaded for a meeting with the entire clan heads of the world he explained what had happened and later on it was discovered that each clan had a problem of their own ,the ai they had created could no longer be controlled....they deliberated hard on the issue and each went back to their respective clans but as midnight struck so did disaster,a huge flood took over the old world and wiped out everyone and everything which ever existed but before it could wipe out all humanity totally,the global alarm was sounded as a warning to the gate watcher at the middle of the world to shut down their creation...he made it in time to shut down the ancient ai but sadly it couldn't save his live neither that of humanity...
I turned the pages upside down trying to at least find out what next happened,how were we then made..but the pages were empty,not ripped off but entirely blank...I looked at Steven as he stared back at me and right then we knew what we had to do we took the big book and ran outside.....but the ground was shaking ..an earthquake...no not now..
