Emery’s pov.
The adrenaline that rushed through me as soon as the doctor came through the door of the operating room a few hours after we came back from the cafeteria made me spring up from the chair to approach him , my nerves stood on high end.
“Doctor, h…how was it?” I gasped for air.
“Calm down, it’s a success but she needs time to recover,” he sighed. Thank God!
“Okay, Please can I see her now?” I pleaded. My anticipation increased, I want to know how she’s feeling.
“Yes you will, but she needs to be moved to her ward first,”
They rolled her out of the operating room to take her to her ward and I and Austin followed suit. She was asleep,the nurse suggested we allow her to rest for sometime because she was on IV medication and sedative.
