I know Emery coming back to work for me is Austin’s handwork to use her to sabotage my deals because something isn’t adding up. My guts stirred up as I walked out of the conference room.
I overheard Austin’s last words before he left telling Emery that she still owes him more favors. What could she be owing him for? I’m sure there’s more to this conspiracy. I’ll have to use his plans against him in one way or the other. Let me focus on the engagement happening tomorrow, and also be observant.
